I wrote a post for Daily Nous on 2 ideas to improve the future of philosophy:
(1) create an AP Philosophy class
(2) create an APA Philosophy Essay Contest modeled on what the Ayn Rand Institute does
Thoughts very welcome, here or in comments on DN!

When my teacher, Jerry Gaus, died unexpectedly in 2020, I wrote an article that summarized his project. Now the piece is out with the Journal of APA. I think the article helps people get Gaus’s project. It is open access too.
I put heart into this one.
