From Kullu to Dubai: Himachal Pradesh’s Sinduri Pomegranates Reach Global Markets
APEDA facilitated the export of 1.3 MT of Sinduri pomegranates from Kullu, Himachal Pradesh, to Dubai, UAE, on 21 October 2026, connecting local farmers and Bhuntar FPO with international markets.
Exported by Amama Exports, the consignment comprises 650 boxes of 2 kg each. The initiative is expected to enable participating farmers to achieve approximately 50% higher price realisation than conventional domestic market rates, creating new opportunities for improved returns and wider market access.
