It was a pleasure to host the PAN-MP Monthly Clinical Meeting as the Chairperson, bringing together clinicians from across Madhya Pradesh through a hybrid platform.
The meeting was a wonderful opportunity for meaningful clinical discussions, complex case presentations, and an insightful academic update on the recent changes in the definition of Acute Myocardial Infarction (AMI) and their clinical implications.
I truly value such platforms that allow us to connect beyond geographical boundaries, exchange clinical experiences, discuss challenging cases, and learn from one another. The participation of colleagues both in person and virtually made the evening even more engaging and enriching.
Grateful to the CSI MP State Chapter, Academy of Cardiac Sciences, and all the participating clinicians for creating this platform for continued academic exchange and collaborative learning.

Since the 2015 American Heart Association Scientific Statement, the incidence of infective endocarditis (IE) has continued to rise with major shifts in epidemiology, including increasing injection drug use–associated IE related to the opioid epidemic, an aging population with complex comorbidities, and expanding use of cardiovascular implantable devices and prosthetic materials.
