My stock only, no option account in preparation for joining USIC in 2026. To say that i am ashamed of myself would be taking it lightly. i shall be performing both seppekaku and bukkake tonight on myself. i have brought shame upon not only myself, but also my family. I have been so proud of my 52% year that has been pinned up on the wall all year. Now i will wear this on the wall as a token of shame, a scarlet letter if you will, so now when i post charts others will come across my page and they will know that i am a fraud and an untouchable. The lowest member of the caste system. Happy New Year, feel free to throw tomatoes on me as you pass.
I know your favorite trader has taken a $2k account and ran it up to 600k 14 times this year. Im not that guy, i have the risk tolerance of an eclair. i started trading in 2017, when i was in my 20s and making a shit ton of money (for me) and wanted to get rich. I never blew up an account but i lost money consecutively for the next 4 years, coming in and out of trading when it appealed to me and then id come on Twitter and see everyone making all the right plays all the time and taking home my salary in a month and i would get discouraged and quit again but the love for trading, that passion, though dormant at times never dissipated, but why couldn't i make money? I left trading completely in 2021 when i heard about NFTs and crypto. Started wheeling and dealing magic internet photos, made a killing (for me), the most money id ever made in my life. Then that fizzled out, but now i had felt what it was like to make serious money, and i wanted that feeling again. I took this newfound cockiness and came back to stocks/options ready to make it my bitch, but still i kept losing. Around Christmas of 2023 i decided that 2024 was going to be my year. I was going to give it my all, i would work my ass off after market close, sifting through charts, option flow, twitter, IBD, soaking up everything i could. i made a pact that i would post charts/flow that looked good to me on my twitter every night, that way in the morning i could come and see what the plan was going in to the day, i did this to hold myself accountable, i did this for me, but what ended up happening was it started picking up traction, i started getting followers! People whom i look to for advice and wisdom were now following me! I started getting offers, offers to promote a platform, to join a small group chat, to help out with flow in a trading discord, and along the way these habits i had made for myself, these steps i took to hold myself accountable, i started to see the results in my trading, i noticed that i stopped watching my PnL, i stopped getting upset over losses, my emotions started to level out, i was getting in the zone and holy shit i was making money consistently! I still have a lot of work to do, this was a pretty easy market year and im well aware that if I wasnt so well placed for elections my % return would look a lot different. i still have a lot of work to do, but my god does it feel good to beat the market, to have a profitable year. Im pretty much done for the year, especially after today im mostly cash so this is a fair assessment of my year. 51%, im thrilled. I havent made serious money yet, but i will. I know that now. Im here now, i have a seat at the table, and im not fucking leaving.

When i was 22, i lived in my car, i was addicted to heroin, and i worked at job that i stole from everyday with the fear that one day id come clock in and get arrested. I had 0 dollars to my name and for the most part didnt know where my next meal was going to be coming from. Iain is crushing it. An awesome follow, one of the most info spewing, knowledge knowing, gandalf the white type mfer and as someone older (no need for specifics) than Iain i have no problem saying i look up to him. You have a 700% year and i will look up to you too age irrelevant.
My parents always told me the path to success was pretty straightforward. Get a great degree, land a corporate job, climb the ladder for 40+ years, and maybe 1 day you'll become CEO. And don't get me wrong, I always wanted to be the CEO part...but waiting 40 years to get there??? Are you kidding me? I'm going to have grey hair and wrinkles by then. I was/am a youngin. I wanted to build something now. I wanted to make an impact while I was young, not wait until I was 60 years old to finally start living the life I'd been working toward. So, the summer of my sophomore year of college, I did what I was supposed to do. Landed an internship at a Fortune 500 company, showed up every morning, did my work, collected my paycheck, the whole nine yards, etc, etc, etc. And man, I was MISERABLE. I dreaded waking up each morning and clocking in and out of my job. I was super thankful for the opportunity and for my boss, but the work didn't match my personality at all. I'd come home every afternoon and tell my parents the same thing. There's absolutely no way I'm doing this for the next 40+ years. but there's a catch... every day I'd get home around 5PM, open my laptop, and work until 1AM on an e-commerce business I was helping build. I was basically working a second shift, except this was the work I actually looked forward to doing. Fast forward, over the next year and a half, we went from 5 figures to 6 figures a month and eventually built a 7 figure business. I don't say that to boost my ego. I say it because I was literally sitting in a corporate office during the day, wondering if this was what the next four decades of my life were supposed to look like, while simultaneously helping build something that would completely change my perspective on what was possible. The business also ended up helping my trading more than I ever expected. It was a mutually beneficial relationship:) because having income outside the market meant I didn't have to force trades to pay my bills. I could sit through drawdowns, take a few weeks off when conditions were doo doo, and actually wait for my setups instead of treating every trade like my rent depended on it. ...but something else happened along the way that I wasn't expecting. There was always another goal, number, and another milestone. I spent so much time chasing what I thought success looked like, only to realize that no amount of $$ was ever going to satisfy that hunger in me. My faith has taught me that my identity and purpose have to be rooted in something a heck of a lot bigger than my bank account (think bigger). and that's a huge reason I continue sharing my journey on here. The wins, the losses, the stupid mistakes, the lessons I'm still trying to figure out. I am nowhere near perfect. I take more Ls than Ws in life. I'm 22 years old. I've got a lot to learn, and Lord willing, a whole lot of life left to live...but one thing I wish more people understood, especially my generation, is that you don't need someone's permission to start building something meaningful. And to the older folks, business owners + CEOs reading this, don't underestimate someone just because they're young. Some of the most driven, talented people I've met are barely old enough to rent a car. I'm not saying everyone should quit their job tomorrow and start a business. Heck, there's absolutely nothing wrong with building a career in corporate America if that's what you're called to do. I'm saying don't spend the next 40 years convincing yourself that you have to wait for a title, a certain salary or somebody else's approval before you can make an impact. start that little project, learn the high income skill, reach out to the person you admire, build something after work, and fail as much as possible + learn and try again. You'd be surprised how much can change in a year or two when you stop waiting for the perfect opportunity and start doing something with the one you've already got. You don't have to wait 40 years to start making a difference, and you sure don't need to be a CEO to do it. Spitballin' what I'm currently wrestling with, thanks for coming to my TED Talk! - iain

$DVN I totally get that trend lines dont mean anything but imagine if they did? This would be a nice line. Now speaking of stuff that does matter, on the daily it has tapped resistance at 51.75 area 3 separate times. The more it touches and rejects, the bigger the break through when it happens, i have 0 sources to back that previous statement but it sounds really good so im going with it.

$QQQ Almost done filling the gap. At this point it looks like we have a date with the 200sma. Dont tell software or cybersecurity that though, with a lot of their tickers sitting at or near highs.

$AI I think its still early on this one, weekly chart. No idea what the fundamentals are, i know the smarter heads on here say the company is shit. i believe them, but this chart and this base break out is still cooking. Im already in but i keep talking about it
$AI This lil shitter managed to get over resistance, i'm impressed. No notable flow from last week. See what it does this week, i dont know if I want to trade this because it does feel like its a ticker very fitting of "rising tides lift all boats."

$CBRS Boy if you thought it was a steal at $200 do i have a deal for you! Havent had the luxury of trading this name yet, but ill be watching it for some kind of mean reversion-esque pop to get closer to those MA's, we shall see.

$GEV I am trying/tried some $GEV this morning, $FPS not actionable. $GEV i bought this on 15min candle close over this morning high (green line). risking as it shows 1.13% to lows, i wont swing it over night if i dont have some cush
$FPS and $GEV both look really good heading into the new week. $FPS On the 6th saw notable January call buyers come in buying the 60s and 65s. Based on OI they are still holding position. May look to play these but also think $20 otm on a $40 stock with 90 days to exp might be toight. $FPS game plan: 15min candle close over 40.45 i'll get long looking to use that lod as a cut point. $GEV game plan: no notable flow in the past week. 15min candle close over $1010 will get long shares, again using that days lows as stop point.

$GCT rarely does this ticker get option flow alerts, however we had flow come in just now. January $55 ITM call buyers. At this point my take profit stop is below the 8sma.
$GCT You look cute when you behave please keep going thank you.

$AI Weekly chart working on reclaiming the 50sma. Decent short % if it can get some motion.

As an Orange County resident the situation transpiring along our beach cities could potentially be detrimental to our real estate market. Between the flooding in Newport (which is a peninsula btw), the massive beach erosions/destruction? taking place in Dana Point, Laguna Beach, San Clemente, Long Beach, etc. Newport Peninsula for example, there is one road in and one road out. If all the sudden the residents of Newport peninsula as a whole start feeling unsafe either physically or financially there could be a gigantic shift in the high end beach house market. On that peninsula alone you are talking about billions of dollars in real estate that could potentially become revalued or at least buyers/homeowners will have significant increases in insurances costs which could push people out. I know in parts of Florida real estate has taken some massive hits in weather torn parts of the state with some areas losing like 20% of their value in mere months. These are shower thoughts, i am not in real estate, nor an analysts of any kind i'm just thinking out loud here. Ok back to my stock stuff
