Tuesday morning volunteers gathered to celebrate the enormous impact we've made across Memphis and Shelby County this year.
Our results speak for themselves: our students are showing significant growth, proving that the consistent presence of a tutor can change a child's life.
We are humbled by the outpouring of support over the last few days. To those new to the A2R family: Welcome. 💙
If you’re looking for a way to honor BC's memory, we challenge you to become a monthly supporter. 📚

Our hearts are broken. Brandon Clarke spent his last birthday with @ARISE2Read, sharing cupcakes with 2nd graders and reminding them that they matter. He wasn't just a Grizzly; he was a friend who believed in literacy and helping our kids. #BrandonClarke #ARISE2Read #Memphis

Believe this is one of the last times we spoke with Brandon Clarke.
He presented a $1,500 check to KIPP Collegiate School last September through his foundation as part of the "ARISE2Read" campaign.
A good dude through and through.

☀️Getting your students to read during the summer is easier said than done. The simplest way to manage what your kids read is to assign one topic every day. Staying academically motivated and critically thinking may be achieved by devoting 10-15 minutes daily to one subject.
☀️☀️Summer Slide is Real! ☀️☀️Your challenge for today is to call or text a family member or friend and encourage them to make summer reading a priority for their chikd(ren)! 🎉🎉🎉 📚📚📚📚 #arise2read #ittakesavillage
