Last week, the CA Fish and Game Commission voted on proposed changes to marine protected areas and recreational fishing access. ASA, CCA California and partners advocated for science-based decisions that protect sustainable fishing access. Read more: ccacalifornia.org/mpas/
This week, 127 rec. fishing companies signed a letter supporting CO Amendment 83, which would establish a constitutional right to hunt & fish while preserving science-based wildlife mgmt. The letter also highlights fishing’s $2B economic impact in CO. bit.ly/4zsJz3m
ASA President & CEO Glenn Hughes addressed 100+ outdoor media professionals at AGLOW’s 70th annual conference, highlighting the importance of growing fishing participation.
