If you've spent years building an #adultwebsite, don't wait until you're ready to quit before thinking about an exit strategy.
The best sales are usually planned, not rushed.

An example of how your money should move as an xxx creator: 💸 ➡️
Deposit 100% of your self employment income into a separate bank account
(Biz or personal, it just needs to be isolated)
Transfer 60% to your personal account
(Owners Draw)
- living expenses
- debt payment
- fun
- invest
Transfer 25% to high yield savings for taxes
Keep 15% in the bank account for business expenses (aka write offs). You can use an isolated credit card for biz expenses to collect points and pay it from your isolated business checking account
You can adjust the percentages but this is the general idea 💡 ✨

William’s wife started noticing how forgetful he was becoming.
Being the concerned wife, she convinced him to see a doctor.
William was a little worried when the doctor came in.
Sensing his patient’s nervousness, the doctor first asked what was troubling him.
“Well,” William answered, “I seem to be getting forgetful. I’m never sure I can remember where I put the car, whether I answered a letter, where I’m going, or what I’m going to do once I get there — if I get there. I really need your help. What can I do?”
The doctor thought for a moment, then answered in his kindest tone, “Please pay me in advance.”

An octogenarian who was an avid golfer moved to a new town and joined the local country club.
He went to the club to play, but was told there was no one to play with because everyone was already on the course.
He repeated several times that he really wanted to play.
Finally, the assistant pro said he would play with him and asked how many strokes he wanted for a bet.
The 80-year-old said, “I don’t need any strokes. I’ve been playing quite well. My only problem is getting out of sand traps.”
He did play well. Coming to the par-4 18th, they were all even.
The pro had a nice drive, got on the green, and two-putted for par.
The old man had a nice drive, but his approach shot landed in a sand trap next to the green.
Playing from the bunker, he hit a high ball that landed on the green and rolled into the hole. Birdie. Match and all the money.
The pro walked over to the sand trap where his opponent was still standing.
He said, “Nice shot, but I thought you said you have a problem getting out of sand traps.”
“I do,” replied the octogenarian “Please give me a hand.”

Bruce had potential buyers lined up even before it was listed.
I’ve found him to be responsive, proactive and well-connected.
If it weren’t for Bruce, I wouldn't been able to sell it.

I remember when you could go to an adult industry trade show and come home with enough business cards to fill a drawer. Now everybody scans a QR code or connects on social platforms...
Much more convenient, I guess. Although I do wonder how many of those contacts anyone actually follows up with 😄
I get it.

I've been interviewing people in the adult industry for years, and one thing I really enjoy is hearing different perspectives. You can have two people who've been in this business for 25 years and they'll disagree completely about where it's going.
That's what makes these conversations interesting.

Here's something I'm curious about: For those of you running adult websites, how much of your business depends on technology that was built specifically for you? ... And how difficult would it be for somebody else to take over and maintain it?
