KEEP recovery test: new passkey, same Savings vault. 🔐 Losing access should not mean losing your savings. But recovery should not give a new key instant control either. Here’s what’s happening in our current test: → 2 of 3 guardians confirmed recovery to a new passkey. → The second confirmation started a 72-hour waiting period. → Sentinel froze Savings 6 seconds later, without resetting the recovery countdown. → While frozen, withdrawals and most settings are blocked. What can someone with the old owner passkey do? They cannot simply replace the guardians with their own wallets. → Adding or replacing guardians is blocked while recovery is pending. → A new guardian removal still requires 2 existing guardians’ approvals and a 48-hour wait. → Guardians can still vote to cancel an unwanted recovery. What happens next? Recovery becomes ready on 10 November 2026 at 07:20:46 UTC. A guardian must then complete it. Only after completion does the new passkey gain Savings access and the old owner passkey lose it. The vault address stays the same. Recovery changes access—not where the savings are held. Important: Guardians should not approve removing recovery supporters during this process; losing the required votes can prevent completion. Current status: recovery pending.
