ALT The European Defence Challenge is an open competition that seeks to attract young talent to the #EUDefenceIndustry and encourages them to start careers in defence-related technologies. This year’s Challenge, hosted by the Belgian Royal Military Academy, is themed “Towards a Safer Tomorrow: Multidisciplinary Approaches to Landmine Clearance and Security Enhancement.” To date, students from 24 countries and 126 different institutions have participated in the four previous editions, reflecting the broad reach and impact of this initiative. The European Defence Challenge was established under the ASSETs+ project (2020-2023).
