Today was my Moffitt checkup and I’m 7 years cancer free! 🙌🏻 It’s been a journey but He’s held my hand and wiped every tear when the devil came whispering. I’m so thankful for His healing hands! “With every breath that I am able, Oh I will sing of the goodness of God!”

Often it’s hard to rejoice in our circumstances. But if you choose to rejoice anyway, your suffering will strengthen you in your faith walk, your joy will showcase the power of God, and your mourning will minister to others.
Thankful for this reminder from our Head of School this week! Education is always hard, but it’s been “extra” the last couple weeks (months, years)! I’m so thankful the Lord knows what we need, when we need it! #refuelingthetank #fallbreak2021

There's purpose in every season — even seasons of darkness. And we must choose... Will we see dark times as a womb or a tomb? Is it a birth of something new or the death of what we thought should be? Will we fix our eyes on God's goodness or give in to hopelessness and despair?

When I desperately want to know why hurt happens, I remember, Jesus had all the answers and he still wept.

Everything broken doesn't have to be completely fixed for us to be completely fine. We can be scared & brave & frail & unbelievably strong all in the same leap of faith. We can be hurt but we don't have to live hurt.
Broken is what people are. Beautiful is what God makes them.

We are not forgotten, sweet friend. Our longsuffering won’t seem nearly as long or nearly as painful when we know God’s perspective is to use every single second of our suffering for good.
Thankful that @SCACrusaders is much more than just academics! During a rough time, my boy has been loved and checked on nonstop! We couldn’t be more grateful! This sweet teacher even visited to check on her boy! So blessed!

Year 18 of teaching was certainly the most challenging, but even when I couldn’t see it “He was working!” The Quad Squad ended the year w/81 students in-person. My own kids went to school every day, played sports,& enjoyed all the major events! I’ll NEVER take that for granted!🙌🏻
