(Segue o fio)

Reminder that it was Lieberman's raising of the electoral threshold to 3.25%, in a deliberate attempt to lock Arab parties out of the Knesset, that resulted in the formation of the Joint List and record turnout among Arab voters.

Rubio didn’t just smuggle a fugitive out—he gave a wanted criminal a safe haven in Miami to sabotage the Global South. The empire is openly sheltering fascists now. No more hiding. Their protects its puppets, but the people’s justice has no borders. No safe haven for criminals.
As I reported hours ago, Flávio Bolsonaro has arrived safely in United States.
The mastermind behind this operation is U.S. Secretary of State @SecRubio .
From the United States, free and safe, Flávio will lead the opposition against Lula.

i think after this year there’ll be a Dem “trifecta” (as of now the legislature is fully controlled by a Dem-Rep coalition)

william’s not that old, it could be his son or grandson
iirc his brother served as a senior judge well into the 2010s

i am an american and i love everything american and what i hate most in the world is the tradition of modest republican puritanism-informed decorating typical of the white house and what i love most is the interior decorating style of an ashgabat casino

Honestly, I think Flávio fleeing to Miami would probably weaken the Bolsonaro clan more than him fighting god knows how many criminal cases he has stacked up over the years that can be taken out of the archives in Brazil.

Susan Collins' new "we're not talking about buying a cord of wood here" attack ad against Troy Jackson reminds me HEAVILY of Iowa Dem Senate candidate Bruce Braley's leaked comment in 2014 that the GOP can't be allowed to win a majority because then "a farmer from Iowa who never went to law school" would be put in charge of the Senate Judiciary Committee.
He was kind of right, Chuck Grassley ended up being a disaster for the courts. But you just don't say something like that while running to represent Iowa.
Similarly, if you're running in Maine, you don't cut an ad mocking loggers as unqualified to be in politics. Just an incredible thing for Collins to do at the 11th hour.

given that you have TX-Gov at tilt Dem then i'd move KS-Gov to lean R at minimum, the KSGOP isn't exactly in Fantastic straits

probably too generous to assume he makes it to NH lmao

no but you have to understand that his 2% in New Hampshire is literally worth killing for

with that said, i doubt that a "mere" Ossoff+8 margin would mean Gov. Rick Jackson -- given the turnout, there's only so much that split-ticket votes can do.
Replying to @nardwrites
the thing is that Collins seems to be outright imploding -- which *might* explain how Ossoff is winning by 11 while KLB is barely ahead.
