Does this Cina line look wide or does the o22.5 look a bit short. Dino is a deserved fav but Cina has looked like he can be competitive here recently
Maybe more inclined to the over since a lopsided set for Prizmic is on the table but Cina is accumulating decent data indoors
Shelton moves to 16-10 (62%) in 3rd sets in 2026. Weird list of players to beat Shelton in a 3rd set
Tien - IW
Shevchenko - Miami
Tirante - Houston
Prizmic - Madrid
Basilashvili - Rome
Altmaier - Hamburg
Fritz - Halle
Tabilo - DC
Mensik - Prague
Kym - Basel
Arthur Fils moves to 11-1 in 3rd sets this year, obviously best on tour.
#2 is Flavio Cobolli at 12-3
Aura.
Shelton’s serve just got jailhouse railed on one of the fastest courts on tour.
Kym proceeds to go to town on his own serve as well with a sloppy, UE filled game, gifting Ben his break in 31 games
Kym may pull off one of the biggest 500 upsets of the year. Shelton was almost unbeatable when playing the weaker draw of the 500 week
F that’s the last we see of Cobolli it’s been a hell of a year for him.?The Acalpulco come back vs Kecmanovic was awesome, the domination of Zverev in Munich, seizing his opportunity at RG, straight setting ADM at Wimbledon, and 4 straight 3 set wins in Cincy. Forza.
TDI insights for Fery/Musetti. Fery edges Musetti out in serve, who picked a bad day to stop botting. Despite Musetti’s higher quality from the ground, he let Fery into attack too much and wasn’t efficient converting his own attacks. The math clearly is against his passivity
Great effort from Fery. Very underwhelming campaign post-Wimbledon he finally gets a decent win vs Musetti who understandably couldn’t find his normal level today
That loss should sting Musetti as it was a winnable match that he choked away. Should be able to rest for Paris
After getting the break for 4-2 in the third, musetti turns in two disastrous service games vs a cramping Fery and is now down 4-5. Fery getting treatment for cramps and just got an MTO. Cheap move by Fery.
Needs to find some magic
If Jiri could have tag teamed Vit Kopriva in to play his break points he might have won 6-2, 6-4. Impressive 1st set for the Czech, but will need to find at least a set where he is that dialed in tomorrow if he’s to avoid breakers vs Shelton again. Looking for b2b win vs Ben
Shapo breaks himself at 4-5. Fritz with a very solid set, which is all that is necessary vs an opponent who will beat himself
Lehecka with one of his better sets on return in recent memory. Won 37% of Altmaier’s 1st serve points and 67% of his 2nd serve points. I know it’s Danny Alts but still impressive for the Czech. However 2/10 on bps needs to be improved
Lehecka probably should have wrapped this set up 6-3 but instead he’s in a dogfight. Inefficient on bps on a day he’s actually generating a lot
Arthur Fils moves to 11-1 in 3rd sets this year, obviously best on tour.
#2 is Flavio Cobolli at 12-3
Aura.
Musetti ends his streak at 24 consecutive service games w/o facing a BP. Has now held 34 straight games and 38/39.
