Thank you @AmericanU and ED Amy Dacey for the fantastic Fireside Chat about “Women Shaping Peace, Power and Policy.” Hosted by the @AUSineInstitute in partnership with the Women’s Network, this interactive conversation, both here and later with the talented AU students, covered the importance of the transatlantic alliance, diplomacy in a time of global uncertainty and the human side of diplomacy. Thank you, American University, for the honor to be a Sine Distinguished Lecturer 📚

After her father lost a local election by five votes, Amy Dacey, SPA/MA ’95, never forgot the lesson: every vote matters.
Today, as executive director of @AUSineInstitute and the new Democracy Innovation Lab, she’s turning that belief into action by connecting students with leaders, fostering civil discourse, and preparing the next generation to strengthen democracy itself. bit.ly/46GOr96
