I am extremely frustrated the way things are going in West Bengal. A group of friends and a foreign fund including me wanted to invest in an infrastructure project. But seems its impossible to reach the people in power unless you are Tata or Ambani.

For Indians following election results in Israel, one bit of info. Israel votes by Paper ballot. Israel does not vote by Electronic Voting Machine (EVM). Even with high standard of technology in Israel, they concluded EVM wasnt immune to manipulation & fraud. Israel rejected EVM.
There are already Many Industries in Durgapur, Asansol, Siliguri... Bengal. The only Problem is "BIMARU Outsiders", who are Eating Most of the Jobs Depriving the Locals! Bengal is Feeding 3 Neighbouring States!

Someone mocked West Bengal, claiming without Kolkata, it would be no different from Bihar. There's some truth to the underlying concern. We need wealthy Bengali NRIs worldwide to invest in Siliguri and Durgapur, reducing Kolkata's pressure and transforming these cities into major commercial, financial, and technology hubs in North Bengal and Rarh Bengal.

What a convenient democracy!
If a manipulated mandate can produce a full fledged government, what remains of electoral legitimacy? By this logic, the present State Government should be treated as INTERIM. The SC must restore the previous elected government in West Bengal and direct fresh elections within six months, ensuring that every eligible voter wrongfully excluded from the electoral rolls is reinstated.
Otherwise, the only thing LOGICAL about this reasoning is how conveniently it overlooks the DISCREPANCIES.

SHOCKER. The @ECISVEEP’s “Logical Discrepancy” list was allowed only as an “interim measure,” its validity not yet established, says Supreme Court. Oh really, Your Lordships? So you allowed a potentially ILLEGAL ‘Logical Discrepancy’ list to delete 27 lakh eligible voters in Bengal?! Is this justice? And only now — now that Bengal assembly elections are over, and bona fide citizens have not been allowed to vote—only now the apex court will examine the legality of the @ECISVEEP’s move ? If there was fairness and justice, Gyanesh Kumar would be OUT and there would be a free and fair RE-ELECTION in Bengal.
