Dear @instagram @Meta, please, I genuinely need your help. 💔🙏🏽
My disabled account is not just a social media account to me. It is my portfolio, my business page, my creative space, and a reflection of the work I’ve been building towards my future..1/5

📌If you’re Nigerian and broke, BOOKMARK THIS POST. 🇳🇬
There are websites quietly posting jobs, scholarships, fellowships, grants and remote opportunities that many people don’t know about.
I’m breaking down what each one is useful for. 👇🏽
1. Opportunity Desk
A good place to find scholarships, fellowships, internships, grants, conferences and other opportunities around the world. Some are fully funded.
2. ReliefWeb
If you’re interested in humanitarian work, NGOs or international development, check this one. It regularly features jobs, internships, training and volunteer opportunities.
3. Jobberman
One of the platforms Nigerians should have bookmarked. You can find jobs across different industries, internships and career resources.
4. MyJobMag
Another useful Nigerian job platform. You can search by location, industry and job type instead of randomly applying everywhere.
5. Devex
Useful if you want to work in international development. You’ll find opportunities connected to NGOs, development organizations and global institutions.
6. UN Careers
Want to work with the United Nations someday? This is where you can search official UN vacancies, internships and other career opportunities.
7. Youth Opportunities
A useful platform for young people looking for scholarships, fellowships, internships, competitions, conferences and other international opportunities.
The important part is this:
Don’t just save this post and forget it.
Check these platforms regularly. Opportunities have deadlines, and sometimes the difference between getting selected and missing out is simply APPLYING ON TIME.
I’ll keep sharing useful resources, opportunities and things that can actually help you make progress.
Follow me so you don’t miss the next one. ❤️🔥

Every time I cooked for my girlfriend, she would wait until I sat down before she started eating.
At first, I thought she was just being polite.
But sometimes I took a while because I was still putting away a pan or cleaning the stove, and she would just let her food sit there getting cold.
I’d say:
“You can eat. You don’t have to wait for me.”
She’d reply:
“I’ll wait.”
One night, I made pasta for us. I served her plate and went back to the kitchen to finish the sauce.

Don’t bite me oh, but I feel like when some women say they want an intentional man, they’re not necessarily talking about money or expensive gifts. I think some women genuinely just want to see someone go out of their way to make it obvious that they want them in their lives.

When someone dies by suicide, people ask:
Why didn’t they talk to someone?
What were they thinking?
How could they do that?
But when someone tries to open up, the world often says:
You’re overreacting.
You’ll be fine.
You’re too sensitive.
That’s life get on with it.
Silencing people in pain and then judging their silence is one of the cruellest things we do as a society.
