We were delighted to welcome Provost Bill Howatson to Museums HQ and Discovery Centre in Mintlaw to see the collections. He was particularly interested in the old Gordon District Council pendant which was replaced in 2003 by the new Aberdeenshire Council pendant.
We were washed out at Aberdeenshire Farming Museum this past weekend, but it didn't stop at least one visitor. We named him 'Drookit'. #WeLoveAmphibians

Sub-Committee) and Fiona Clark (Museums Development Co-ordinator) admire a Late Neolithic beaker, over 4,000 years old. It is currently on show in the ‘Timeless Treasures’ exhibition at Peterhead’s Arbuthnot Museum.
And hand-numbered, every one!! They are a wonderful selection and I had a blast cataloguing them!
