India’s green-energy transition is entering a demanding phase. Having already made significant progress in expanding non-fossil capacity, the challenge is now to close the remaining gap to 500 GW by 2030. Achieving this ambition will require faster deployment of renewable capacity, alongside substantial investment in grids, large-scale storage and other enabling infrastructure. Recently, ACME Solar’s Joint MD & CEO Nikhil Dhingra joined the Amundi Investment Summit to discuss how corporates are managing the economics of decarbonisation, which technologies will matter most and how transition finance and investor stewardship can mobilise capital at the required scale. He illustrated the efforts made by ACME Solar in ramping up its BESS capacities reinforcing that storage will not be an ancillary component of the energy transition, but a core enabler to ensure reliability and dispatchability of renewable power. #ACMESolar #EnergyTransition #BESS #EnergyStorage #RenewableEnergy #Decarbonisation #TransitionFinance @ACMEGroup_India
