I am currently outside Sandton Fire Station Voting Station, conducting interviews with voters ahead of casting my own vote.
What is truly overwhelming is the turnout of voters across the City of Johannesburg. Residents are coming out in numbers, determined to exercise their democratic right and take back ownership of the future of their city.
The message is clear: Joburg residents are GATVOL, and they are ready for change!

Today, as a GATVOL resident of the City of Joburg, I will be casting my vote at Sandton Fire Station.
Baagi, my vote for ACTIONSA s no secret. It is the key to unlocking our city from five years of failed leadership. You are the bosses. Today, I urge you to exercise your democratic right: vote out those who have failed you and vote in leaders with proven track records of delivery.
I DID IT BEFORE, AND I AM READY TO DO IT AGAIN! BOTH BALLOTS, VOTE ACTIONSA FOR YOU!

“Today, I stand here as a patriot, asking to join in celebrating a leader whom I believe can bring Johannesburg back to its former glory.”
These were the powerful words of Jacinta Ngobese-Zuma, March and March Leader and a proud KwaMashu-born young woman, at our ActionSA Johannesburg Mayoral Announcement earlier this year.
Her words reflected a shared belief that Johannesburg can be restored through decisive leadership, accountability and a commitment to putting residents first. That is the vision ActionSA is fighting for.

The residents of Soweto are GATVOL of the ANC!
During our motorcade in Soweto, we came across a resident wearing an ANC T-shirt who, in a moment of frustration, tore it off to express his dissatisfaction with the ANC.
The people of Soweto are tired of empty promises, poor service delivery and years of being let down. They are ready for change, and on the 4th of November, they have an opportunity to vote for a party that is ready to Fix Joburg!

🚨 STOP HELEN ZILLE AND THE DA FROM BRINGING CAPE TOWN’S WALL POLITICS TO ALEXANDRA!
Today, I am on the ground in Alexandra, engaging residents about the importance of standing together to stop Helen Zille and the DA from pursuing a similar approach to what is being planned in Cape Town; building a wall to separate the poor from the rich.
We cannot allow Alexandra to become the next target of a politics that seeks to divide communities instead of addressing inequality.
Alexandra and Sandton may exist side by side, but their residents deserve equal dignity, respect and opportunities. The answer to poverty is not to build walls to separate the poor from the wealthy, but to confront the inequalities that continue to divide our society.
