Robotic assisted laparoscopic kidney pyeloplasty completed…
Bloody uncomfortable, especially the referred shoulder pain from the abdomen distension…😖
But now for the graded rest, recovery, and rehab without losing too much strength, size or sanity!

Every email I’ve ever had from the HCPC notifying me of anything over these 7+ years of dealing with them has been at 4pm on Friday!
It’s so consistent that it can’t be a coincidence but another sign of their total lack of care for their registrants wellbeing or mental health!
⚠️ WARNING⚠️
Viewer discretion is advised!
So apparently according to @acethechiro I’ve got a shit attitude for questioning Oreo based spinal analogies.
Well, I’d argue that performing cervical manipulations on vulnerable children, with no convincing evidence of benefit and documented potential for serious harm, deserves considerably more scrutiny than my fucking attitude.
Especially when international evidence-based recommendations explicitly advise against spinal manipulation in infants and neck manipulation in children.
And when the chiropractor involved has previously been disciplined and now faces further serious allegations from the California Chiropractic Board.
Those latest allegations still need investigation, but the concerns they raise deserve serious attention.
Children deserve safe, evidence-based healthcare.
Not questionable treatments for social media marketing content.
And if calling this shit out means I’ve got a bad attitude or am unprofessional, well then I’ll happily wear that badge!
🙏 HELP POST🙏
A BIG FAVOUR TO ASK AGAIN!
Hi everyone,
As many of you will know, I have been dealing with, for 7+ years, numerous complaints made against me to the HCPC by various individuals who are determined to cause me as much trouble, stress and difficulty as possible.
All these petty, vexatious and vindictive complaints come from physios and healthcare professionals who either don't like me, disagree with me, have personal grievances against me, or just resent what I do and how I do it.
Now some of these complaints are FINALLY due to be heard at an HCPC Fitness to Practise hearing starting on 30th November 2026, after TWO previous abandoned hearings in 2023 and 2024 due to the HCPC's staggering levels of incompetence and mismanagement.
And this is where I need to ask for your help and support once again.
Many of you have already been incredibly supportive and have previously provided me with some very kind, generous and embarrassingly flattering character and professional testimonials.
In fact, some of you have done this TWICE already for the other failed hearings.
However, despite the delays being largely of the HCPCs own making, they are now requiring me to obtain fresh testimonials all over again.
Apparently, the HCPC consider the previous testimonials as "out of date" and so cannot be relied upon at this new upcoming hearing.
So, it’s with a slightly embarrassed and very frustrated expression on my face, I'm asking, once again, for your kind help.
If you have previously written a testimonial for me and still have a copy, you can simply update the date, sign it again and email it back to me at [email protected]
Alternatively, if you would like to write me a new testimonial, it would need to be:
• On headed paper, or on a letter containing your work address if you don't have headed paper.
• Dated and preferably hand-signed, because apparently making this process as unnecessarily awkward as possible is important to the HCPC.
• Addressed to "To whom it may concern"
The letter only needs to cover three things:
1. That you are aware I have an HCPC Fitness to Practise final hearing starting on 30th November 2026, concerning allegations made against me.
2. How you know me, personally and/or professionally.
3. Your honest views on my character, professionalism and practice as a physiotherapist.
It doesn't need to be long, complicated or overly formal. Just an honest account of your experiences and opinions of me.
You can then email this to me at [email protected]
And if possible, could I please have these by 1st November 2026 at the latest, so there's enough time to get everything submitted to the HCPC
I know I'm asking a lot, particularly from those of you who have already gone out of your way to help me once or even twice before.
Believe me, I am absolutely sick and tired of this whole saga, and I'm sure many of you are sick and tired of hearing about it too.
But after seven years of dealing with these complaints, the delays, the stress, the expense and the seemingly endless bureaucratic bullshit…
I am determined to see this through and defend both myself and the professional reputation I've spent over 25 years building.
So if you can spare a little of your time to help me again, I would be forever grateful.
And to those of you who have already supported me throughout this ridiculous ordeal... THANK YOU.
I genuinely cannot express how much it means to me.
Hopefully, this will be the last time I have to ask for your support with this absolute circus of a process
Much love and thanks to you all.
Adam

So my questioning the Oreo spinal pathology trend has upset a LOT of people!
Apparently, I need to relax, chill out, cheer up because they’re “just harmless analogies.”
But here’s the point they’ve all missed…
Just because an analogy is simple, popular and easy to understand, it doesn’t mean it’s accurate, helpful or harmless!
Good education should build confidence in our bodies, not reinforce fear and fragility.
And if questioning potentially misleading healthcare messages makes me a miserable, grumpy bastard, so fucking be it!
Oh, and one last thing…
OREOS ARE BISCUITS, NOT FUCKING COOKIES! 🇬🇧🍪 #RuleBritannia
Just when I thought we’d moved on from the shitty jam doughnut analogies, along come the fucking Oreos! 🍪🤦♂️
Your spine is NOT a fragile stack of biscuits waiting to crumble, crack or squirt cream everywhere!
It’s an incredibly strong, robust and adaptable structure designed to tolerate load, bending and twisting.
So PLEASE stop using shitty analogies that make people fear their own bodies?
Good education should build confidence, not create fear!
Eat the fucking biscuits. Stop using them to explain spinal pathology! 🤦♂️

Right then fuckers… the paper is now fully published! Let me know what you think… especially all you pearl clutching hypocritical physio dinosaurs out there! 😂 frontiersin.org/journals/reh…
Imagine being a grown adult and making a formal complaint to someone’s regulatory body because they disagreed with you and said you’re deluded! 🧐
Better luck next time Gregory! 😂
Also it took the HCPC more than 19 months to reach a decision about this… 🤦♂️ #NotFitForPurpose
🚨HELP NEEDED🚨
We are conducting a survey exploring healthcare professionals’ beliefs and knowledge about “muscle contractures”.
The survey is anonymous and takes only about 5 minutes to complete.
Please also share this with your colleagues... docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1F…
I hope you are taking notes @The_HCPC.
Because the potential harm caused to registrants by excessively prolonged FtP investigations needs to be taken far more seriously.
I say this from personal experience.
I have experienced some very dark periods during the 7.5+ YEARS the HCPC has taken investigating allegations against me.
After multiple delays and an aborted hearings, those allegations are STILL not concluded.
Whatever the eventual outcome of an FtP investigation, no healthcare professional should be left under that level of uncertainty and psychological pressure for the best part of a decade.
This process needs to change.
Dr Sridharan Suresh took his own life after being notified by the GMC that he was under investigation.
We are supporting an appeal all the way to the Supreme Court in a pivotal case regarding duty of care. Doctors deserve a regulator that safeguards their wellbeing while protecting patient safety.

🚨 NEW PAPER ALERT 🚨
Really pleased to announce my new systematic review has just been published in Sports Medicine today looking at what we actually mean by “proprioception training”
And if the things we commonly use to measure it are actually measuring proprioception at all!
51 RCTs. 2,319 participants. And a lot of messy thinking.
The big takeaway?
👉 Better balance ≠ better proprioception.
👉 Getting better at a task doesn’t necessarily mean you’ve “fixed” some underlying proprioceptive deficit.
👉 And we need to stop calling every fucking wobble board, single-leg exercise and unstable-surface drill “proprioception training”
Thanks to my fellow co-authors for their hard work and efforts over the last 18 months to get this published!
Link to paper is below, but if you want the full paper… then go follow me on Instagram and not this cesspit of a platform!
