Tuff loss for the @whitesox in game 4 …. No debating that … here’s my take away looking ahead to game 5 sat in Cleveland and things aren’t as doom and gloom as they appear. 1. Both teams bullpens are taxed 2. Cleve had to use Messick, more importantly 1+ IP from closer Smith (still can’t figure out why he started the 8th with 6 run lead (threw 31 pitches to boot) . 3. The Big Rig had to bail him out in the 9th (and he threw 19 pitches). 4. White sox hold 1 big edge … Sean Burke …. He seems to be the ONLY pitcher on either side who physically should be able to handle 4+ innings. Don’t have a crystal ball .. so have no idea how game 5 plays out … but it seems likely to be a high scoring game … which favors the White Sox… this team has bent but never fully broken all season and I expect that to continue Saturday … buckle your seat belts this should be one fun game to watch.
