I'm Adam, a programmer and game developer from sunny Seattle, WA ☀️
🐀 I co-founded @tavernratstudio with my friends and we're working on our first big release, Mischief!
🎮 If you love indie games let's be friends!
Mischief is a local co-op action-adventure game where you play as courageous rats from a family of rodents who:
⚔️Defeat evils bosses
🔎Explore and discover secrets in the neighborhood
🛝Play minigames and compete with your friends!

Sorry one more “im also in the sky app” because I changed my handle to my personal website domain (which btw is a very cool thing that one can do)
So should I just private my account or fully delete it if I’m trying to move to Bluesky? Idk which is more relevantly better
This is your reminder that I’m on the other place and that you should leave and join us there Ty ❤️🦋
So we just FULLY throwing out the “separation of church and state” thing? Like we forcing kids in school to do prayer? Jesus guys
Can we not do this #Recount2024 ? I hate the orange man but it does seem overwhelmingly like he won fair and square and that’s so lame for us to suddenly become election deniers because we’re upset about the result
Okay @dropout series idea: Gastronauts but it’s 3 small indie game teams and they participate in a game jam where the theme chosen by a panel of dropout cast members. “Dropout Jam”
My intuition is that the split in these generations can be clearly found by asking “Have you been able to buy a home and not be in crippling debt?” And millennials appear to be the first gen to widely answer “no” to that (and will continue to gen Z and alpha probs)
As a vegetarian I did find this strange… like I’m not up in arms, but it did seem like not something to celebrate? Idk

I think non-game devs don’t realize the amount of personal attachment and closeness you have to a game you’ve made. It’s not always maximizing sales. Sometimes it’s “I made a thoughtful game about stress/family/sadness” and 50 people play it and feel seen and that’s success.

Well I sure hope you never become a "game dev" I don't care what you think being professional is, my friends are losing their rights, this is not a game.
If I ever become a #gamedev, one thing I'll never do is use my platform to cry about a political candidate winning an election.
Unprofessional behavior, and a quick way to push customers away.

Y'all make it look like you have some kind of moral high ground cause millions of you voted for a rapist that actively supports legislation that kills people like me wtf
IT DOES NOT MATTER IF YOU ENJOYED THE GAME OR NOT I DON'T CARE
I’m know it’s not the time (but it never feels like the time) but can we please revisit abolishing the two party system and/or requiring ranked choice voting on all elections with 3 or more candidates?
This episode was great and does really capture a lot of failures of democrats throughout this election season. They very much did NOT take the pulse of the American people by choosing to not have a proper primary (also timing was bad when Joe dropped out) and I think it shows.
There’s very clearly a correlation between education and political leaning and I think people are quick to be like “haha those people are dumb!” Instead of “wow the failure of our education system is one of the biggest issues we need to address and is directly harming all of us.”
