Massive thanks to @AdamsBrass and Southern Percussion for the loan of a 5-Octave marimba used today at the 2025 Elgar International Festival of Brass. We performed Etienne Crausaz’ incredible ‘Concerto Grosso’ during the programme, we couldn’t have done it without their help!

Playing Timpani 1 for Mahler 1 this week, which always takes me straight back to playing it with the National Youth Orchestra of Wales in 2003. Some lifelong friendships were formed on that tour!

I’ve been an Adams artist for over 15 years now, and they really are second to none when it comes to craftsmanship and build quality.
