I looked at every token that graduated on PumpFun in a 24h window. 546 tokens.
Only 1.3% of the volume was organic - meaning organic launch and organic buyers.
The rest:
โข 67% traded by coordinated wallets (bundles, team wallets, serial devs)
โข 14% from curves bought out by machines. 85 SOL bought in under a minute
โข 15% filled in the first minute by bots
Only 3 tokens out of 546 passed every check: $SATOSHI, $PHILJEAN, $Darkhook.
Pump is seen as the holy grail of liquidity, and way too many people use it as a benchmark for liquidity and protocol success in the space.
As someone building a protocol in this space, I wanted to know how much of that liquidity is actually real.
The sad truth is that the real liquidity across all of crypto is just not that good once we remove all the fake metrics.
The more I dig into each sector of crypto, the more I'm discovering how weak this market actual is.
It's all an attempt to deceive YOU into either participating as a speculator -
or
investing your money and time as a builder in hopes of capturing that "liquidity."

people are still printing for real. it depends on where and how you play now.
here are two explainers;
1. you are psychologically still stuck in pre-2025 crypto thatโs why you cannot adapt to the earning requirements of the current system.
2. airdrops didnโt die. just that this year killed something in a lot of people: thatโs their hunger and ability to grind. there are still opportunities but not many people are grinding anymore.
all they do is navigate 2026 with 2021-2024 expectations then complain on the timeline.
