Life is like the gym arc I think. At aome point you realize all the best is behind you it’s just slowing the downfall on the backside.
2nd workout with these holy shit why didn’t I try these sooner
One major signifier of your level of training ability is how your form breaks down during a set.
The more advanced a lifter, the less likely they are to:
- Speed up their reps
- Cut their range of motion short
- Start throwing weight around
A beginner's last few reps look nothing like their first few while advanced lifters looks basically the same in terms of depth, path, and overall control on the eccentric. You can tell the weight is fighting them but the range technique doesn't change.
The more self-conscious you become of this (YES THIS MEANS RECORDING YOURSELF TRAINING), the sooner you will make these corrections.
So what to do:
- Record your sets
- Record your sets
- Record your sets
- Start to pick yourself apart based on depth, path, and control, especially on the eccentric portion of the lift!
