Top-flight club execs claim "lack of consultation" on Football Governance Bill. Funny old world.
Last year the PL's CEO told MPs “we have had an enormous amount of consultation with the Government on the policies that sit behind the Bill".
Hhhmmm.

Cambridge City's story needs to be seen to be believed.
Their old ground gone, homeless for 11 years. It's a tale of fans who refused to give up on their football and their club. Now they have a new home.

Brighton posted a turnover of £204.5m.
For that financial period it would take Brighton, on average, 51 minutes to earn the £20,000 fine.
£20,000 is approximately 0.0098% of Brighton's turnover for that period.
Brighton have been fined £20,000 by the Premier League for breaking youth development rules.
They have also received a six-month ban, suspended for one year, from registering any academy players currently or previously registered with another club.

Night comes fast in November. So do football games.
Not every match is an occasion.

Last week the 20 Premier League clubs voted for the league to create its own in-house production business.
@Dan_Sheldon_ explains why, what it means for a future streaming app, and what the impact will be for global viewers.
If you have 5 minutes and support a club in the English pyramid:
I've spent the last few months compiling historic attendance data. Could you point me to the record highest and lowest attendances for your club?
Very grateful for any help.

An all time classic club statement.
In the same piece the club manages to talk about “respect shown to everybody” while whinging about “the usual social media brigade” who may question the decision to sack a manager who has them in second with one defeat.
Chef’s kiss.

Midday - “No pitch inspection required”
2pm - Game postponed
Genuinely believe cancellations like this should see home clubs forced to reimburse transport costs.
