At first I thought give some of my elves garenteed magics is not much of a boon sense anyone can do magic. Then I remembered that I a made spell failure result in cranium explosion of the caster. So garenteed magics is most certainly a boon.

its fucking weird to say the least. you can have 2 peoples cut from the same set of ancestors not even 2 generations ago & have one call the other darkie. they look the same, speak the same language, eat the same food, worship the same gods & this behavior would persist.

its the type of politics that would leave mixed folk ethnically homeless. it definitely seems to have a colorist angle, with a gradient of race vs class in some ways, like the more west you are the more it bends around race & the more east you are the more it bends around class
