It doesn't sound weird to me. I'm a non-believer but I feel a deep sense of connection to a shared Jewish experience and history, I'm part of a community and I celebrate the festivals of the Jewish year despite an uncomfortable feeling of having been torn from the root of belief.

I’ve written this piece for the FT about the challenges we face globally with disinformation and the urgent need of a systematic approach to address the root causes of the creation and spread of disinformation, and the positive opportunities that offers.

Here is your reminder that modern #antisemitism is not about #Judaism the religion, but about #Jews, the people.

The information warfare happening not just on Israel-Palestine specifically but broadly on the Middle East has gone from super emotional to super malicious to super bizarre in the span of just a month. It feels like it's been years. Definitely a future case study.

💥The families of Israeli hostages held in Gaza have begun a march from Tel Aviv to the prime minister's office in Jerusalem
Some of you will watch people screaming "Hitler was right" and "Death to all the Jews" and call it anti-zionism.

A month ago, at this hour, I had to tell my two daughters - 3.5 years old and 20 months old - that they must remain completely silent. No word, no cry.
It was 7AM, they had just woken up in a dark room with no electricity or food, and five people were shouting outside the window.

CST can confirm that the victim of the assault on the London Underground was neither Israeli nor Jewish. Nor does it appear that there was any link to current events in Israel.
CST would urge those who posted footage stating that this was an attack on the community to remove it.

We can't stop the bad actors but to everyone else can you please, please, please in the name of all that is good and just, stop sharing disinformation. Better to share nothing than to share lies. 💔
I used to believe (and maybe it was true at some point) that "the truth will out" but now that is not the case anymore. The more time, the more chance to obscure, spin and downright lie.
Very disappointing that a conspiracy theory was either not spotted, or spotted but allowed unchallenged, by such a seasoned journalist.
