Scaling energy intelligence.
Built in Bharat, for the world.
🇮🇳🚀
🚨 MADE IN INDIA, BUILT FOR THE WORLD:
🇮🇳 India's Energy AI Labs, founded by Shubham Mishra and Ajay (ex-DRDO), is developing AI-powered diagnostics for energy systems.
Its flagship technology, EV DOCTOR, has tested 10 million+ batteries across 150+ EV brands in 30 countries, with 98.6% accuracy.
The startup plans to expand into battery storage, power grids, drones and robotics.

Woke up to this.
An electrical engineer from Kolhapur, Maharashtra shared his experience of testing batteries with EV DOCTOR.

While raising pre seed for our venture,
I reached out to Deepi to participate.
And this reply shows his focus and dedication.
(Also I declined the offer to join as we are hyperfocused on something else)
I wish nothing but the best to @deepigoyal and entire @temple team.

I find this story oddly inspiring...
A piano factory built Yamaha's first motorcycle.
In 1953 Nippon Gakki, Japan's biggest piano maker, quietly started work on a motorcycle engine.
Nobody there had ever built one.
But they had a floor of machine tools left idle from making wartime aircraft propellers, and decades of practice casting iron piano frames that had to be stiff and springy at once.
Yamaha's own history credits that casting know-how for the leap.
They walked into a market that already had about 180 motorcycle makers, and people genuinely asked why an instrument company was building bikes.
The YA-1 sold 11,000 units in three years. By July 1955 the bike team was its own company: Yamaha Motor.
Here's the part I keep coming back to.
The closest Yamaha came to breaking was when it forgot all this.
In 1981 it went after Honda on sheer volume.
Honda replied with 113 new or refreshed models in 18 months.
Yamaha managed 37, dealers ended up sitting on over a year of unsold bikes, and the company posted its first postwar operating loss.
Showing up late with the "wrong" background isn't what sinks you.
Forgetting what your hands are actually good at is.

Intelligence is energy that figured out how to question itself.

Trust matters.
An EV dealer returned his EV DOCTOR device last week.
Unusual, there are customers who've used it for last 3 years without a day off.
Nothing was broken in that device.
But after a call we found that he assumed, device will do repair too. [He assumed a lot of things, which even a 1 million dollar machine cant do.]
Anyways, we refunded him.
He was trying to earn a living through running an EV workshop.
Note:
No refund is provided after buying any battery testing device in the world. We just did that with EV DOCTOR™, because customer wanted something else.
This itself is a small but successful milestone towards energy intelligence.
Trust matters more than intelligence.

Which one feels best?
In a country where people dont even take annual health checkups seriously, we are called for pushing to take care of the battery health.
(any checkups are normally done when there's a transaction involved.)
So in order to make battery testing fun,
we are refining UI/UX of EV DOCTOR.

India’s infra boom has a wiring problem.
The money’s real: ₹12.2 lakh crore of central capex this year.
But on 30 March, the grid turned away 34 GWh of solar and wind power in a single day because there weren’t enough lines to carry it out.
That’s a full day’s electricity for roughly 5 million city homes, gone.
And it’s getting tighter.
One in four big transmission projects is a year or more late, so about 20 of the 45 GW of renewables due this year could wait 4+ months just to get connected.
We’ve gotten great at building things you can cut a ribbon on.
The next decade gets decided by the stuff between them.
