Cohort III has entered the chat.
Meet the Fall ’26 Akash Student Ambassadors 🎓
New faces and returning ambassadors, ready to build on Akash, bring decentralized compute to their campuses, and make their mark on the ecosystem.
Let’s go, Cohort III ❤️🔥
@akashnet
MEET OUR COHORT 3 @akashnet STUDENT AMBASSADORS!! 🚀
Get to know the students representing Akash at universities around the world 🌎
Huge shoutout to @rachelt313 for putting together this incredible video!! 👏

$AKT community passed the proposal in record time.
Akash moving to Solana is now official.
(There is still a small chance voters can change their decision but unlikely)

Akash was built on one belief: the cloud should belong to everyone.
The Akash core team believes our next chapter is on Solana, where the DePIN movement thrives.
This is your network, so you decide. Vote on Prop 346: mintscan.io/akash/proposals/…

30 students. 90 minutes. One awesome Deploy Night 🚀
Huge shoutout to @Solo_Gopher for bringing Akash to the University of Minnesota!
Most students came in as complete beginners & left having deployed their first app on Akash.
Love seeing our ambassadors take the initiative, bring people together, and get more students building.
More of this!! 🔥
Two of Akash Ambassadors, @chennethelius and @yash_t_sanghvi, met over a coffee chat before orientation. Now they're building together every week 🤝
Their project: an open-source dashboard that uses Akash's on-chain marketplace data to show GPU provider competition, capacity, and the bidding behind rental prices.
It's early and they'd love feedback 👇

See you all there!!! 🔥
We're excited to welcome @akashnet as a sponsor of UBC 2026! ❤️
Akash Network is building an open, decentralized cloud, making compute more accessible to developers around the world.
Akash also runs a university ambassador program, empowering the next generation of builders, including many members of the UBC community!
Make sure to meet the Akash team at UBC 2026!
Love seeing ambassadors use the program to try something completely new 👏
@CobyMcclellan built an OpenJev deployment template for the Awesome Akash repo, based on the same API as TypeSafe AI’s Jev.
It was his first time doing something like this, so he submitted the PR looking for feedback, got it, and kept iterating.
Exactly what this program is for.
Build, learn, contribute.

This is how decentralized AI actually ships.
Huge props to @holosko_eth — Goose as a Buzz agent, fully on Akash. Clean.

Another Ambassador contribution merged 🎉
@holosko_eth built a template that runs Goose as a Buzz agent on Akash, using AkashML as the model provider.
Deployed + tested end to end, all on Akash.

Week one of Cohort III orientation is in the books.
16 ambassadors. Over 100 applicants. Five back for a second semester.
To close it out, Cohort II ambassador @hrishabhayush joined to share what actually worked for him.
His playbook, in two cards.
Great kickoff to the semester with @akashnet x @CUBlockchain!
@hrishabhayush & @rachelt313 broke down the building blocks of AI agents, introduced students to the Akash ecosystem and Ambassador Program, and wrapped up with a hands-on deployment using Akash Console.
A great first event with lots more to come 🚀
truly couldn't think of a better way to start off the semester!
name a better way to kick-off the semester than a Minecraft server with the boys
thanks @AkashStudents for making it happen!
We are THRILLED to share that our Akash Fall '26 ambassador cohort officially kicks off next week!
STAY TUNED😌
We've spent the last few weeks getting to know each of our new Akash Student Ambassadors through applications & interviews.
Yesterday, we paired everyone for coffee chats based on the common interests and backgrounds we noticed along the way.
Really excited to see these conversations turn into friendships, collaborations, & an incredible semester ahead. ☕️💙
