If you have a long, long commute like me, you know how much mental coordination happens the moment you sit in the driver's seat.
I’ve said before that having Gemini in the car is a game changer, but Personal Intelligence now takes it to an entirely new level.
Available now on Android Auto and coming soon to cars with Google built-in, Gemini can securely bridge your physical journey with your digital life across Google Workspace, Photos, Maps, and more.
Take a scenario many of us deal with: picking up family from the airport.
Normally, you're driving while trying to remember their flight number, wondering if their gate changed, and mentally calculating if you'll make it to the terminal on time.
Now, you don't have to pull over to dig through your phone. You just ask: "Is my family's flight on time, and what terminal should I head to?"
Gemini does the heavy lifting. It securely pulls the flight info from your Gmail and matches it with real-time airport data, so you can get to the right destination without missing a beat.
We've designed this with strict privacy at the center, ensuring your data remains completely under your control.
Amazing work by our teams! Can’t wait to hear what you all think.

Introducing Spreadsheet Arena! Models now go head-to-head building real spreadsheets on Design Arena, and the first leaderboard is live.
The top 3 models are nearly neck and neck: Claude Fable 5.1 by @AnthropicAI (1371), GPT-6 Astra (xhigh) by @OpenAI (1370), and Claude Opus 5.5 by @AnthropicAI (1358).
Then comes a 108-point drop to #4 Claude Sonnet 5.5 (1250). Only 13 points separate the top 3, but there's a clear gap between them and the rest of the field.

Our new research shows how blind sweep ultrasound AI generalizes to new care settings, enabling non-sonographer operators with low-cost probes to deliver clinical-grade gestational age assessments, expanding life-saving maternal care globally. Read the blog: goo.gle/3VR2R45

ALT Our blind sweep model, trained on 1,968 participants (North Carolina, US, and Zambia) was fine-tuned on scans from 120 participants from Chicago, Illinois. It was then tested prospectively in Chicago (n=192) and Nairobi (n=193), with no fine-tuning on Nairobi data. The model was non-inferior to expert sonographers at determining gestational age, in both settings, with a combined mean absolute error of 4.18 vs. 4.48 days.

Compute for 2027 is basically already gone
"If if today a customer is coming out and asking us for compute in 2027, that is incredibly difficult to do.
thats part of the reason even last year we went out and leased some short-term compute was to accommodate some customers and help them out."

GPT-Rosalind surfaced a new lead for drug discovery: could restoring cholesterol transport protect neurons from degeneration?
DCTN1 is a gene linked to Perry syndrome, a rare neurodegenerative disorder. In mouse-brain data, disrupting it increased expression of genes involved in making cholesterol. GPT-Rosalind suggested a possible explanation: cholesterol may not be reaching where neurons need it.
That gives scientists a specific mechanism to test and, if confirmed, a direction for developing new treatments for neurodegenerative disorders.
With @perturbai_tx and @scrippsresearch, a team of thousands of GPT-Rosalind agents worked in parallel, connecting gene-expression results from millions of mouse brain cells with scientific literature in just 32 minutes. We’re now expanding this collaboration to identify new drug targets.
