Look, I love my country. I wish we had strong competent leadership in charge. But that’s just not in the cards right now.
The damage is sustained and deepening under Trump. The moral and economic rot settling in as the norm.
Change is badly needed, and damn fast..
48 hours before Election Day, Democrats have a firm grasp on the House, flipping anywhere between 15-40 seats.
Democrats lead in Senate polling to flip 5-6 seats, an astonishing number on a red friendly map.
Get out and vote. Bring a friend, or two, or three. Make the extra effort to leave nothing on the table. That may never be more important than this particular Tuesday..

There are now 642k Texans who have early voted who did not vote at all in the 2024 Presidential election. 48% of them (310,997) are Hispanic. And 39% (122,461) of those Hispanic surge voters are under the age of 30.
Awfully mediocre half for Mizzou. They look flat as hell out there - inexcusable after the 31-3 ass kicking in Oxford before the bye.
Don’t know what to think about this offense. Sometimes Simmons looks very uncertain throwing past 7-8 yards. 4.2 ypc. Vanilla play calling in the rain. Just, blah..
Best thing to say about this one is we’re not doing very much and they’re doing even less
Major blunder in Maine blowing up tonight after Susan Collins inexplicably released an ad Thursday ridiculing loggers.
One logging association has already pulled their endorsement, with others expected to follow.
Jackson claiming it shows just how out of touch Collins has become after 30 years in DC..
Making fun of loggers in Maine doesn’t seem real bright 60 hours before voters go to vote..
Maine and everywhere: Tell these stuck-up crooks that yes, this government is OURS! Cord of wood, rock salt…. All while she’s lining her pockets with bribes!

If you haven’t been to Alaska, you’ll never understand.
Up there, there are political differences, but no enemies. Can’t afford not to pull together for the greater good. That’s the way of life.
This Fed interference is backfiring badly. Neither side likes them or wants them involved..
lol Republicans can’t even pay people to vote for them.
Wait until Democrats offer $10k a person if the they win the WH and keep the House and Senate in 2028.
Democrats going to put all those “trillions of dollars” Trump claims to have raised to good use for student loans, expanded health care, and social security hikes..
President Donald Trump approved disaster aid on Friday for households in central Texas that were damaged by July floods, reversing an earlier denial just days before the midterm election.

Fox News was always overrated.
They get their ass kicked by network news (ABC, NBC, CBS) night after night, week after week, year after year. Most people get their TV news from the networks (or social media).
More people watch David Muir (8.8M) every week than watch Watters, Hannity, and Ingraham combined lol
WOW: Republicans are switching off Fox News in droves, during what should be a blockbuster month for them.
New Nielsen numbers show Fox averaged just 98,000 viewers ages 25 to 54 in October.
That’s the group advertisers actually pay for, and it’s the network’s worst month with them in 25 years, down 32% from last October.
Overall viewership fell 27%, to its lowest point since December 2023.
Prime time, where Hannity and Ingraham spend every night fawning over Dear Leader, got hit even harder. Viewers in the key demo dropped 36%.
Even “Fox & Friends,” the Toddler-in-Chief’s favorite morning show, just had its smallest audience since 2015 and its worst month with younger viewers since 2001.
Meanwhile, MSNBC, now known as MS NOW, is up 16% from last year.
Cable news ratings normally climb right before a big election. Fox is sinking instead, and Semafor’s media editor pointed out that Fox’s ratings tend to track conservative enthusiasm.
So how did Petty Donald react? By whining that Fox is “putting on the OPPONENTS of Republican Party Candidates” too often.
He spent a decade turning Fox into his personal megaphone. Now even his own voters are tired of listening.
But they have, all over the country.
Four years ago, it happened to Peltola in Alaska when Republicans fought to keep a dead man on the ballot in her House race.
Alaska voters know this and it all amuses them, if anything. It doesn’t change any votes.
Replying to @Alan_Covington
They’re just angry they didn’t think of it first. So wait til 2028, they’ll stack as many races as they can.
Haley Steven wanted to appear at an event with El-Sayed in Michigan, and demanded he apologize for kicking her ass in the primary.
El Sayed told her to get lost, saying she was a “distraction” to his campaign the final weekend lol
After six Super Bowls and 12 conference championship games, it would seem the moral of this long screed is you don’t need 1,000 yard receivers to win big in the NFL.
At least Andy Reid doesn’t.
Andy Reid has coached 27 completed NFL seasons (regular season, through 2025). Only five wide receivers have produced a 1,000 yard season for him.
This comparison is strictly WRs, deliberately excluding Travis Kelce, Brent Celek and every other tight end. A follow-up will include TEs because Kelce’s production deserves its own discussion.
Philadelphia, 1999–2012:
• Terrell Owens: 2004
• Kevin Curtis: 2007
• DeSean Jackson: 2009, 2010
Only four qualifying seasons from three players across fourteen years.
Jeremy Maclin came close, including 964 yards in 2010, but his first 1,000 yard season came in 2014, after Reid left Philly.
Kansas City, 2013–2025:
• Jeremy Maclin: 2015
• Tyreek Hill: 2017, 2018, 2020, 2021
Five qualifying seasons from two WRs across thirteen years.
Combined, that’s nine 1,000 yard WR seasons in 27 years. Every NFL franchise produced more over that same 1999–2025 window.
The rest-of-league rate would yield approximately seventeen over the same span.
The KC comparison is particularly striking. Since Reid arrived, the Chiefs rank:
• T-28th in 1,000 yard WR seasons
• 31st in 800 yard WR seasons
• 22nd in receiving yards from WRs
• Sixth in total receiving yards across all positions
They’re also last in the number of different WRs to reach 1,000: just Maclin and Hill.
That’s a remarkably small group for an offense with this much passing production.
There are reasonable explanations. Reid distributes targets across positions. Injuries matter. And an arbitrary cutoff shouldn’t erase seasons like JuJu Smith-Schuster’s 933 yards in 2022 or Rashee Rice’s 938 in 2023.
Lowering the threshold to 800 still leaves KC 31st. This goes beyond a few players narrowly missing 1,000.
These are production numbers and the responsibility extends beyond Reid alone. That said, with the trade deadline approaching, temper expectations. Adding talent would help the team as a whole, but unless they add a true WR1, don't expect a shiny new toy to buck the trend of the system.
Mizzou reset off the bye and ready for a five game run to a CFP playoff spot. Ahmad Hardy back for a midseason boost.
Win all five and they’re in at 10-2. Three in Columbia and tonight at crappy Arkansas. Fate probably rests in Athens, Georgia in two weeks.
Reid is two and a half games better than ‘Super Bowl fav’ Sean McVay THIS year lol
Not to mention an overall career that embarrassingly towers over McVay (6 SB, 12 championship games)
The blatant Republican interference in the final week of the winning Peltola campaign appears to be backfiring with Alaska voters.
State Supreme Court has already litigated this and put Decoy Dan on the ballot. There is no law against ballot stacking. It’s all perfectly legal.
Alaska Gov Dunleavy being criticized for being involved at all. Where’s the crime, Gov?
And anyone who has spent any time in Alaska knows just how Alaskans feel about federal interference in their affairs.
Sure, MAGA voters aren’t real bright, but that’s no different than anywhere else in the lower 48. If they can’t read the ballot, don’t blame Mary..
