We know it's hot and that lake, river or quarry might look like an inviting spot to cool off in, but there is a risk of hidden dangers like: ⚠️ Cold water shock ⚠️ Strong currents ⚠️ Hidden debris or sudden drops ⚠️ No lifeguards It may be reaching 30°C this weekend, but please stay safe: ✅ Stick to supervised swimming areas ✅ Don't jump or dive into unknown water ✅ Never swim alone ☎️ Call 999 in an emergency

Last year, Asad was playing football when he collapsed. Luckily, two people on the nearby pitch were hospital medics and were able to give him CPR until the ambulance arrived. Their efforts, combined with several shocks from a defibrillator, were able to revive him. We want everyone to know vital CPR skills and have the confidence to help save lives in an emergency, so there can be more outcomes like Asad’s. Read Asad’s full story here: lnkd.in/ecCsgNw4 #RestartAHeart

Only one in 10 people survive an out-of-hospital cardiac arrest. But CPR and defibrillation within 3-5 mins can significantly increase the chance of surviving a cardiac arrest. Public access defibrillators are vital in saving lives. #RestartAHeart resus.org.uk/RSAH

Each year, 80,000 people have a cardiac arrest outside hospitals. In moments like these, defibrillators can save lives. But in deprived communities, where cardiac arrests happen more, defibrillators are less available. Let's change this. #RestartAHeart resus.org.uk/RSAH

If your defibrillator is well maintained, recently tested and unlocked, it’s rescue-ready and can play a vital role in saving lives. For #RestartAHeart, we’re calling on defibrillator owners and guardians to add them to The Circuit’s national defib database. Find out more: thecircuit.uk/
