Effective Immediately, all organizations using PHP for their systems are advised to be prepared for an update addressing two critical vulnerabilities. PHP is widely used for web applications. These vulnerabilities often provide a direct path to the server's file system or database. If an immediate update is not feasible, it is recommend that organizations take the system offline until it can be fully mitigated. NSA will follow up shortly with more specific guidance.
Anthropic’s economics team put out a scenario model for AI and the US economy through 2030. There’s an interactive explorer plus a technical paper behind it.
Their basic idea is simple: jobs are piles of tasks. AI can help you do a task, take the task over, ignore it, or help invent new ones. That mix is what actually changes a job over time.
They walk through three futures. Modest looks a lot like the internet: real gains, nothing wild. Substantial is bigger. AI can handle a big chunk of knowledge work by 2030, growth runs hot, and wages for knowledge workers mostly stall while other workers do better. Extreme is the scary one. AI outcompetes people on most knowledge work, does a lot of it alone, and barely creates new knowledge jobs. The country gets much richer on paper, but knowledge-worker pay drops and unemployment jumps.
They also surveyed more than 10,000 Americans. The average answers land near substantial. Roughly one in ten map to extreme.
What stuck with me: in the stronger scenarios, GDP is up, but a bigger share of that growth goes to capital instead of wages. Knowledge workers take most of the hit.
I’m not treating this as a prediction. It leaves out policy, robots, demand shocks, and a bunch of other mess.
Anthropic’s Economics team is sharing a new model of how AI might affect economic growth, jobs, wages, and more by 2030.
Explore the scenarios, tell us what you think will happen, and see how your answers compare to more than 10,000 Americans. anthropic.com/institute/econ…

Welcome to the future of dating
i just found out my bestfriend broke up with her sf boyfriend over the weekend
i asked what happened
she goes "i found out he had an ai agent managing the relationship"
turns out the thoughtful texts, the check-ins, the good morning messages, the conflict resolution, dinner date plans...all automated
my friend was emotionally attached to a cron job
Anthropic be a rebel and don’t comply.
Bravo l'UE. 🤗🖕
NVIDIA quietly launched a free course on building AI agents this week.
No $500 bootcamp. No waitlist. Straight from the people building the infrastructure.
Building on webdone.ca lately, the best agent material I've found has been free docs from the labs, not paid repackaging.
