Yesterday in Brazil, a congressman from the ruling left-wing party took the floor to say that many more opposition members will be arrested.

Did you know that some municipal (city) governments in Oklahoma can charge you, the taxpaying citizen, to repair a public, taxpayer-funded sidewalk?
This is a problem. When you live within city limits, your tax dollars already contribute to city funding.
Today, I finalized the legislative language for a bill to address what I believe is a violation of the people’s trust and rights.
This bill will be officially filed on November 15, 2026, and will go through the legislative process to (hopefully) become law.
The bill’s language states (in part):
“…No municipality shall compel or charge payment from a property owner whose property abuts city property or easement for the repair of that same city property or easement without first obtaining the written consent of the abutting property owner…”
