A group of settlers just lynched Hamdan Ballal, co director of our film no other land. They beat him and he has injuries in his head and stomach, bleeding. Soldiers invaded the ambulance he called, and took him. No sign of him since.

Incredible how bombing the Iranian consulate, killing Iranians and carrying out an assassination on Iranian soil wasn't a declaration of war by Israel though.
Israeli political leaders reacted to what they called a "declaration of war" by Iran on Tuesday night, as the Islamic Republic fired some 180 ballistic missiles into Israel as part of a massive aerial barrage. @BreuerEliav reports: jpost.com/middle-east/iran-n…

hm, call me a crazy corbyn-voting granola commie antisemite or what have you but i actually don’t think it’s at all normal for the sitting PM to be doing glib quips when heckled about the actual killing of actual children that we are actually enabling

The IDF could march onto the set of BBC News At Ten, shoot the presenters in the head execution style and they would still cover it "Hullabaloo in London as 2 journalists pass away. Sources suggest Hamas involvement"

It’s been said before but the second Greta started making connections between climate change and capitalism, colonialism, and imperialism the media coverage came to a screeching halt.

I love that we've taken computers - a machine designed exclusively to do math - and taken away the ability to solve gradeschool math problems and all it cost us was the amazon rainforest

Imane Khelif’s case has exposed the contradictions in the so-called “gender critical” movement by forcing transphobes into a position where they’re arguing gender is ambiguous. Imane Khelif was born with a cervix, but they have argued she is “too manly” for women’s boxing, and should be made to fight against men — which is not the gender she was “assigned at birth”. As a result of this, “gender critical” activists have found themselves conceding that there is actually a biological component to gender fluidity, as they sought to claim Imane Khelif’s genetics gave her a sporting advantage — as if this is the first time in history someone has been genetically suited to a particular sport. Another question is if a male boxer was considered “too womanly” would the same “gender critical” transphobes support him identifying as a woman if he wanted to? And compete in boxing against women? If not, why do they insist Imane Khelif - a woman - identifies as a man and competes against men? “Gender critical” activists appear to want to force Imane Khelif to be a trans man, despite being born a woman and living her life as a woman. The case has exposed their hypocrisy and incoherence, as well as destroying any credibility in their claim to be standing up for women.

Far-right agitators don’t care about working class people or our communities. They haven’t been running the foodbanks, haven’t been campaigning against the 14yrs of cuts, they’ve been nowhere when people are sanctioned or skint. They are racist, shameless political opportunists.
