Browns now have lost 23 straight regular-season game at Pittsburgh, tying the NFL record for most consecutive road regular-season losses vs. a team that the Lions held, losing 23 straight games at Green Bay from 1992 through 2014.

The Browns have lost 22 straight regular-season games in Pittsburgh, and have not won a regular-season game there since Oct. 5, 2003 -- 8,248 days ago. They are one loss today shy of tying the NFL record for most consecutive road regular-season losses vs. a team in NFL history that the Lions currently hold, losing 23 straight games at Green Bay from 1992 through 2014.

Cleveland was up by as many as 29 points in the 2nd quarter. They went into the half up by 24. Less than a full quarter later, the Cavs only lead by seven. This has been the recurring problem for this era; they let off the gas. Championship teams don’t let that happen.

It feels wrong clamoring for Tanner Bibee, but this is exactly why so many Guardians fans wanted him to start. Maybe he would’ve imploded. But rolling the dice on this many relievers was bound to backfire. The bullpen is taxed and has been badly overexposed. And when your offense is this bad, all it takes is one bad relief appearance to end the season. As bad as he’s been, the right move was betting on your Opening Day starter with postseason experience and living with the results.
