Postgame, Dillingham announced that Fette will be the starter next week depending on Keene’s health. He added on that he might have spoken too soon. That being said, it’s seeming likely that Fette will start in Provo.

28-17 the final in Tempe. Cardae Mack responsible for all ASU points. Big win heading into Provo next week to face a BYU team that is currently in overtime against UCF. Regardless of the result there, they’ll be a highly ranked opponent.

He did it again. Four touchdowns today. Its 28-17 ASU. All of the scoring from ASU has been from Cardae Mack rushing touchdowns. Crazy.

A low punt gave K-State good field positioning to start a drive, and Knuth ran it in a few plays later. 17-14 Wildcats.

A good defensive stand from ASU inside its own 10 forces Kansas State to kick a field goal. Now 14-10 ASU.

Cardae Mack takes a snap on the 1-yard line and finds the endzone again to make it 14-7 ASU. Not a bad offensive showing so far in Mikey Keene's first start for ASU.

Cardae Mack runs it in a few plays later. Both teams with quick scoring drives to open it, ASU's took just four plays.

In the press box at Mountain America Stadium ahead of ASU vs Kansas State. Kickoff in just over 20 minutes, very important game for ASU here. I’ll have coverage all day long for @sportscronkite.

Pat Murphy, ASU’s second-winningest head coach, led the Sun Devils to 4 Pac-10 titles and 4 CWS trips in 15 years, coming one win short of the National Championship 1998. Now his Milwaukee Brewers are going to the World Series, winning their first pennant in 44 years, sweeping the defending back-to-back World Champions, with a payroll nearly $200M below Los Angeles. After 25 seasons as a manager across Division I and MLB, he’s four wins away from the title that’s eluded him. @statepresssport
