RELIVE IT: Andrew Conrad's walk-off 55-yard field goal gives East Carolina a 20-17 win over South Florida. Always hectic with a last-second winner and (quasi) field storming, but here was my view of it and the fan reaction (NSFW: probably some swearing) for @9OYSSports ⬇️

ESPN's broadcast is bottom tier.
Between Levy and PK talking during the last 3 minutes about Schaefer and not about the game play when the goalie was pulled. To PK groaning every time the Canes got the puck. It was a terrible broadcast experience.

This is why Canes fans are bitching about PK. Like the islanders are hemmed in, why are we talking about how great their pressure is? And then the groan when Will scores. Give me a damn break
LSU president, not a football guy.
Tiger Nation, a letter from me ahead of Saturday’s game against Alabama. 🏈

ALT A letter from Dr. William F. Tate IV, LSU System President, addressed to "Tiger Nation." The letter discusses game day traditions, emphasizing safety and community spirit. It states that unauthorized gatherings are not allowed without permission, and student tailgates must end an hour before kickoff. Violence and illegal activities will not be tolerated, stressing mutual accountability. The letter ends with encouragement and the phrase "Geaux Tigers!" The letter is placed on grass.
I know this is a hot take now, but College football is better when bowl games matter.
How would you rather end your season. Conference champs, confetti raining down and lifting a bowl game trophy… or conference champs and getting 40 balled by Texas A&M in round 1 of 5.
WATCH: ECU head football coach Blake Harrell says he voted against a Group of 6 playoff — and bowl wins are the reason why: "I was one of the guys that voted for no playoffs, and here's why. To our program, to Pirate Nation, you think about our last two bowl games and how huge that is. Beating NC State in the Military Bowl game two years ago, beating Pitt in the bowl game last year in the same Military Bowl — that's huge to our program, our players, our fan base. And to me, that supersedes a playoff where you're just playing other G6 teams."

What am I missing? He’s never even won a state championship in HS but is the front runner for a P4 job in the ACC and in the same year he came out of retirement got an interview for the Bills job. Where’s the proof of concept? How do they know if he can recruit or develop?

Connor McDavid praises the Carolina Hurricanes and perfectly describes their identity:
“You can't say enough good things about them, really. They do everything so well. Really, really impressive. It feels chaotic, but they're so organized amongst the chaos. It's really, really impressive. They're a great team, and there's lots to learn from them for sure.” #CauseChaos #CarolinaCulture #LetsGoOilers

Pirates blow another two score lead and lose on another OT pick. Canes lose in a shootout after having a multi-goal lead.

Memphis has defeated ECU twice in the last 20 years.
ECU leads the series 18-8, including the last 3 in a row and 10 of the last 12 meetings.
Imagine thinking your "collision course" in the American is anything other than playing your big brother in <2 weeks! 🤪
Memphis is just GOOD. Seems like they’re on a collision course with UTSA or UNT.
Adjustments after halftime were the key to this game. UAB fought their asses off in the 1st half, but got muted in the 2nd half. Credit to Huff.
The CFP may be calling their name. They have a hellacious roster and a top level head coach. 5-1 for the Tigers
