We now come to the 3rd of the 10 originals that make up “Another Christmas Day”. Keeping in line with exploring different sounds and feelings of Christmas, this song was inspired by Victorian Christmas carols…

With shades of darkness, the song blends references to religion and to the secular celebration of Christmas. Jacob Gorzhaltsan & Julian Anderson-Bowes sound especially beautiful paired together off the top and throughout…

I love to keep a listener wondering where we’ll go next, instead of crafting an album with the same feel throughout. “Ho Ho Hold Me Close” leaves it wide open. We hope this song and this album find a place in your home this holiday season 🎅🏼🎄

(Part 5) When I started to write this album, I finished off the missing pieces of “Prelude to Christmas”, changed some of the lyrics, and then took it to Ewen. He transformed it from a ballad into this rollicking Dave Brubeck-type feel. Also a nod to “Prelude to a Kiss”!

youtu.be/sonkNEbrLtc

The town of Cobalt came out tonight in a beautiful display of love for Kaylie Smith. Horrific violence has taken place but now is the time for solidarity, community and healing. We light candles to tell darkness that it has no dominion over us.
