Not only is OpenAI bringing Codex's usage limits to ChatGPT, but they're also limiting how many paid accounts you can use on 1 device, forcing users to pay for credits (which give far less usage per dollar than a sub) instead for more usage

According to Redditors, OpenAI has now sent an email about ChatGPT & Work merging, + limits sharing between ChatGPT and Codex as a result It appears only Instant will be unlimited now

🚨 BREAKING: ChatGPT potentially to share usage limits with Codex as soon as December (could always change of course, not yet officially announced) personally, this gets rid of the only advantage ChatGPT plans still had to me over Claude subs (I don't use image gen etc) 🥲
