What a fucking loser!
Chris Pratt urges Americans to support each other after Election Day: "Check in with your neighbor—especially if they voted for the other guy or girl."
"How do we become a nation of honorable winners and graceful losers? It starts with remembering no matter who wins or loses, there are still going to be people who need help in this country. Find them. Be of service...Our strength lies in our people who step across the political aisle not just with the handshake of a good sportsman, but a helping hand to anyone in need. Your civic duty can be uniquely exercised on November 5th, but there is an even bigger civic duty required the next day: which is to accept the results and focus instead on showing up for each other."

every single day people loudly admit that they don't want to live in a society, that the existence of people unlike them is an inconvenience, that the slightest friction is violence. and then they demand that society be the one that bends to them.
I’m so tired of seeing Dutch walkable city propaganda. I’ve lived in walkable cities my entire adult life. Yes it’s nice to walk places. Yes I’ve avoided probably 30 DUI’s. Yes I’m “in good shape” and “happy”. But guess what? My personal space is always molested by weed smoke or noise. There’s no where to park, and no one has a yard. I thought I’d never want to but I can’t wait to live in the suburbs some day where I can actually have a car and buy as many groceries as I want, not just as many as I can carry. I don’t want to hear loud music from speakers or construction ever again. People become boring and move to the suburbs simply to insulate themselves from the trashy low class mental patients. Just a few of them ruin everything. A walkable city is not where you wanna end up in a low trust society, and a low trust society is what we will have until we institutionalize all democrats

700,000 people come to Houston from the suburbs for work and we “have to provide their safety, their healthcare, their airport”, why do we have to provide services for people that don’t pay property taxes to the city? And why don’t we focus on the people that actually do?
