Broderick was in awe as Superman and the Justice League came time clean things up. His chest filled with hope, his mind drifting even further from the pain.
"Thank God. You okay there, Superboy? I couldn't stand idle. I'm no where near as strong as you or your father butโ"
โI couldn't let anyone get hurt, even if you are a superhero too. Can't stand not helping."
Broderick looks back to his mangled right arm. He sighs.
"I'll... I don't know if I'll be fine, but I'll manage. I stopped the bleeding. The pain will probablyโ"
"Nice."
He trades their phone numbers.
"We don't gotta do anything... you know... supernatural. We can just chill. Watch TV, grab some food, beer maybe. Everybody needs a friend, hell I know I do."
Broderick keeps his smile. Perhaps he needed to reach out more than Emre did.

oh, no. you're adorable.
//sorry for the lack of presence here. Gained intrest in video games again and now I got sick. A cold making me feel weak and stuff. Will be out for the next couple of days. I have all your replies saved.
"I'm thinking something like a generic knight but with my own design. If you could make me a cape, I'd be ecstatic! I don't have any money though. I wouldn't mind repaying you with a home cooked meal though, if that's doable."
His eyes lit up when she offers to make him a cape.
"I see. I'm not... you know a soilder, but I can understand how that feels. We should hang out more. Just to check in with each other, you know if that's okay."
Broderick had struggled with his self-image as well.

Broderick was quick enough only to see Jon hit the ground causing a minor earthquake and sending fragments of concrete flying everywhere. Broderick knew that he couldn't win a fight against Nemesis Omega but he wasn't going to allow Jon to die in front of him.
Even while afraidโ
โBroderick can't let that happen. It won't happen. Eventually his right arm is about 6 times it's size. It's covered in writhing liquid metal but it solidifies immediately.
Then he jumps and a heavy blow lands.
CRACK!!
Nemesis Omega stumbles to the side. But it's enough.

"Halloween costume? Oh crap I completely forgot about that. I'm thinking about being a Knight or something. If got an armor design in mind, I just need to work on like a cape or something."
