There really be fans that don’t care about coherency, they reject Scott facing any personal accountability for cheating on Jean & that does a disservice to both Jean & Scott as individuals/couple. Y’all will take Emma vs Jean over holding your favorite ship to the fire
Decades old doesn’t mean it’s not there? Plus, an affair? An emotional affair? That’s pretty important to address in a romantic relationship, especially an overall emotional relationship?

one thing i love about scott is that he does want and need people by his side that will question him. he knows it makes him a better leader. he's always ran like this i think because he grew up /not/ questioning charles and knew that isnt how he wants to lead as he grew up

Kwannon just brings something different than Magik. Magik is a good tactician, they haven’t exactly negated that, they’re leaning into Kwannon’s ability to make calculated decisions to steer the X-Men team as a whole. Plus, it doesn’t hurt to create several impactful bonds.
X-Men 40 is actually a good issue, but seeing how the Magik-Cyclops dynamic from Krakoa has been erased so Kwannon can have the same dynamic is like if in Star Trek season 3, Spock was suddenly an ensign getting into mischief with Checkov and Sulu was the First Officer.

Finally read Moon Knight 9… was epic was hell. Dev of course cooked with the art, easily capturing the vastness and edge of this book. I would love more midnight sons, a team with tension forced to work together is a great idea.

In an increasingly progressive working class, comics leaning into progressive politics in their work will become more popular & DC’s Absolute line (& even Marvel’s Ultimates) just proves why the current X-Men titles remaining liberal/centrist have dipped in sales/popularity
How DC’s Progressive ‘Absolute’ Line Has Reinvigorated Modern Comics The alternate universe series is grim, political, and more popular than anything else in 20 years. Read: rollingstone.com/culture/cul…

Like, yes, it’s grim & gritty— but not without purpose & meaning. Cough, X-Men, cough Tom Brevoort, talking to you.

Cyclops is a perfect choice for an ongoing solo. Kwannon can take leadership for the X-Men. He’s got undiagnosed mental illnesses, a damn TBI, unfinished plot points, potential dynamics with other heroes, & always trying to mind his own business but is ALWAYS interrupted

I’m in such a complicated spot when it comes to Jean & Scott staying together, I don’t want them broken apart but I also don’t want them to brush off their unaddressed past… I just want some good writing that DOESN’T pretend everything is nice & great...

Even in Eversong, the most recent Jott story that is my favorite modern day Jott arc by a long shot, the writing doesn’t pretend everything is great. There’s concerns expressed & talked about. That is what is crucial.

A confiança/força que o scott deposita na kwannon mesmo com ela estando confusa com esses dilemas dela é muito gratificante de se ver ele é o melhor 🐐!! #xspoilers

#XSpoilers This issue was excellent. Kwannon & Scott’s dynamic is easily one of, if not the best thing that’s come out of this era.

'Shitty and hollow'... I mean, first, there were fewer than 200 mutants around this time (by which I mean capacity, not accusation); second, they were not forced to live in SF; third, it's not exclusive to mutants; fourth, they soon moved to a place that could avoid crossfire...?
Well what I really mean is it probably comes off as a pretty shitty and hollow promise, especially since this is off the top of my head the first one that isn’t even in an isolated location, the humans can literally just drive there in tanks if they want.

Scott Summers isn’t real… blame Marvel for being so lazy dealing with Jean & Scott
Damn Jean and Scott not even considered Mr. and Mrs. X anymore for X-men BY official MARVEL liked it USED to be! How fucking low have we fallen. Because of fucking Scott Summers, we don’t even have THAT anymore

Unironically fits what I envision a grown version of Scott. I was hoping they’d pick a chonky guy for Beast.
O ator irlandês Peter Claffey (1,96m) foi escolhido para dar vida a Fera nos X-Men da Marvel. Gostaram da escolha?
