Favourite genres! I love SFF in all forms! But I'm particularly drawn to books with dystopian or feminist undertones (bonus if it has both). Love a romance subplot, enemies to lovers is a fave, and if the HEA OTP is not the first couple in the series 馃

If I'm feeling fancy I write at my desk (pictured) but mostly I write on the sofa under a pile of blankets surrounded by forgotten cups of tea and empty snack packets 馃槀.

I would love a CP. If anyone would like to swap, I've written an NA/A dystopian sci-fi, it's got strong feminist undertones. Happy to provide TWs/CWs if that would be useful. I read adult sci-fi and fantasy, with a romance subplot even better!

Commander Darrow is weirdly obsessed with our protagonist. Maybe because of Sera鈥檚 strange powers, maybe not... And she's willing to manipulate Sera so she's the strongest, regardless of the repercussions. #RevPit

鈽濓笍 is the logline I wish I'd used for #RevPit but my brain 馃く and I submitted this one: Where your value is decided by the strength of your superpower, a young woman struggles to find the truth about her father鈥檚 death while training for a war she doesn鈥檛 believe in. Not my fave!

Plotter all the way! I get a massive A3 sheet of paper, put columns for the 3 acts, then cover it with post it notes, one for each scene, and spend hours rearranging until I'm happy. Then I do it all again in scrivener! 馃槀 Maybe my favourite step! #RevPit

Oooh this is a hard one! I start with a character usually, then plot (using all the post it notes I can find) and generally the character and the plot kind of feed into each other while I do that. So both? Am I allowed to say both? #RevPit

The worst part about revising is deleting things. It hurts me! So instead I copy everything into a folder on the off chance I want it again 馃ぃ. So far, nothing has made it back from the folder of doom! #RevPit

It's tough to choose my favourite part of the writing process! I LOVE doing a massive poster board of the 3 act structure and covering it in post it notes (scenes). But I also LOVE LOVE writing the first draft and seeing how those scenes turn out #RevPit

I was experiencing lots of misogyny, and Sera (MC) is who I wish I could have been back then. She lived rent free in my head for years until I wrote this book. She's 馃敟 when she's angry and will do anything to protect loved ones from the patriarchy.
