dragon age literally paved the way for gay rep in video games and it’s not even an exaggeration. we had bisexual rogues with fully animated gay sex scenes in the FIRST game which was launched in the year 2009. let that sink in

Words cannot express how meaningful it is to see black and Asian elves - in important main roles, no less - be represented in fantasy media. Historically, the genre has coded elves + elven beauty very narrowly. And it's SO wonderful to see that spectrum grow more inclusive.😭
