Smits is going to be a special player man. I'm so happy he's a Ranger.

Durzi being clearly hurt and the pair underperforming not being enough to get Scott Morrow into even one single game tells you pretty much all you need to know about how the Rangers (don't) value Morrow What an enormous whiff
Colin Stephenson
@ColinSNewsdayOct 27
Sullivan said splitting up the Pettersson-Durzi pair wasn't just about tonight. "It was an accumulation of events over time,'' he said. He said Durzi is "battling through some stuff physically, and I'm sure that might be part of it," but the pair hasn't been as good lately.

For as atrocious the goaltending has been tonight, I have a hard time blaming either one of them. Reimer shouldn’t be here to begin with and Garand was meant to have the night off. Team needs to wake up and help them out. #NYR

Here's an idea: Trade Scott Morrow to WPG for Nico Daws. Jets seem content with Skinner/Stevenson and could surely benefit from a young RHD like Morrow.

Andddd we can put an end to the James Reimer experiment.

Now I don't watch the Kings a ton, but why the heck is Mikey Anderson on their third pair behind Erik Gustafsson and Joel Edmundson??

Rangers Sign James Reimer Amid Goaltending Shortage One shutout was all it took. James Reimer went from a Wolf Pack tryout to a Rangers contract, and the corresponding moves send two players back to Hartford. Read it here ➡️ blueshirtbanter.com/rangers-… via @Almost_August #NYR

Causing an uproar at the bar because I’m making them keep the #NYR game on 2 TVs (they’re connected) on a college football Saturday, with the World Series going on, also very much outside the tri-state area.

#NYR have a Braden Schneider problem
Peter Baugh@Peter_BaughOct 24
Braden Schneider couldn't handle a puck at the blue line, and it led to a rush the other way. Zetterlund found Stützle cutting to the net, and Stützle finished. 2-0 Senators

Less comparable than Bernard-Docker was but if these two also pass through waivers, #NYR should really consider sending Morrow to Hartford. There’s no reason to keep him and not play him. Call up Robertson or Vaakanainen to sit in the press box.

Hellebuyck getting out of the “worst” Canadian market to go play in Newark, NJ is one of the funnier things I’ve ever seen tbh.
