While our time has come to an end, I have been honored to have been part of this the last 3 years.
@punsznn you have done an amazing job with what you had, and it’s recognized!
Thank you for having me be part of this.
What’s up #ADFam
Introducing myself for those that don’t know me.
I am JustJeff. I turn 28 in May and I am active duty Air Force. I am approaching my eighth year, have been deployed before, and lived in Germany for an extended time.
I have been with @AlphaDogsGG for around 2 years and have been focused on changing the stigma around mental, in general for around 6 years now.
I truly believe that you shouldn’t have to suffer alone.
Also, I truly believe that part of improving your mental health is to improve your physical health. I am consistently in the gym, working out and improving. I am looking forward to meeting and interacting with you all!
Need a safe space to connect with like minded men and women all around the globe, who care about mental health and everything that surrounds it?
Then come join us right here on X!
You don’t even need discord anymore! #MentalHealth #CommunitySupport

I kept hearing “I love what you guys are building, I just don’t really mess with Discord.” So I went ahead and built another option for you 🫵
I just opened the Alpha Dogs X Community and yeah, it’s basically empty right now besides my first post. That’s intentional. I’d rather start with the right group of people and set the culture.
This is our home base on X for venting threads, advice, and weekly check-ins, a way to be part of the community without adding another Discord server to your already long list of servers.
If you’ve wanted to be in the community but Discord isn’t your thing, this is your door.
Join and drop a quick intro when you’re ready!

I’ll save you years of pain in 30 seconds:
If you’re lonely, your brain will tell you:
“Don’t reach out. You’ll look weak.”
That voice is the enemy.
Do the opposite. Every time.
Just out here improving my mental health by improving my physical health and repping @AlphaDogsGG in the process.
What are your #2026Resolutions?

In mission-based orgs (AlphaDogsGG, RegimentGG, Team Inferno), the loudest and entitled “I’m the value” types never last.
You’re not God’s gift to the org, the org is a commitment to the people we support.
If you can’t serve people, you’re only built for yourself and that’s as far as you’ll ever go.

I’ve been grinding incredibly hard on this new @AlphaDogsGG build, and honestly… I’m proud of it. Not in a “big things coming” way. In a “we’re completely rebuilding the engine” kind of way.
What I’m most proud of is the groundwork we’re laying to build a stronger, more reliable Peer Support program.
They’ve always been strong, always cared, always showed up. But now we’re investing heavily in them and the program so they’re even more prepared when it counts.
Anyone stepping into that role is now required to complete QPR training, our baseline standard for risk recognition, intervention, and referral.
This change better equips us to respond faster, stay consistent, and honestly… be more efficient at supporting the community.
We’re also exploring covering MHFA classes, so anyone stepping up to help the community can be backed with even more training.
More updates coming soon!

Bittersweet posting this…
Because that old logo lived through the messy beginning when it was all belief, late nights, and a lot of “we’ll figure it out.”
I’ll always love what it stood for… but I’m ready for what comes next for @AlphaDogsGG

Replying to @AlphaDogsGG
@AlphaDogsGG started like most esports orgs do… chasing championships, stacking clips, living on grind culture, trying to be the absolute best. I was fully bought in because I genuinely thought that was the mission.
Then Shaun took his own life…
Suddenly none of this mattered to me, the “esports shit”… none of it mattered. Not when someone you care about is gone. Not when you realize how many guys are carrying heavy things in silence, including yourself.
So Alpha Dogs changed.
We stopped trying to be “another org.” We became a place where men could show up without pretending they’re fine. Where gaming became the bridge. The way in. The excuse to hang around long enough for someone to finally say, “Yeah… I’m not doing great.”
That’s what the org is now:
A community built on genuine connection. Being the kind of community that notices when one of ours goes quiet and does something about it.
I don’t share this for sympathy. I share it because if you’re building something and you feel lost, or you’ve taken hits that changed you, you’re not behind. You’re being shaped.
And if you’ve ever felt like you’re fighting your battles alone…
You don’t have to do that anymore.

A new chapter in my journey, and I am excited to get started. Thank you, @AlphaDogPun, for the opportunity. I had a great conversation, and I feel both our feelings and passion towards these things align, and I’m eager to start working.
I will have a video with more details about what’s to come. #BearClub🐾

Remember when I said orgs should publicly admit when they mess up instead of posting another “big things coming 👀” teaser?
Yeah… this is me doing that.
I fucked up with @AlphaDogsGG.
Not the mission, that part has never been any more clear. Where I failed was direction.
And because of that, I ended up taking on too much of the emotional weight myself. It wasn’t what the community needed, and it wasn’t sustainable for me either.
Alpha Dogs was never meant to just be “a place where you can vent your frustrations online.”
It’s supposed to feel like a brotherhood, where we game together, roast each other, and check on each other when life goes sideways.
Venting will always have a place in our community and I’ll never take that away because no other community offers what we do.
But we have to be more than just that..
I want people to feel proud to say they’re part of this because it means something.
And I know I can’t do it alone.
If you’re up for the challenge, my inbox is open.

Most of what we call “immaturity” is really just arrested development.
People who go from childhood straight into fame without ever forming an adult identity.
That’s why so many creators “lose everything” before they find peace.
The persona has to die for the person to exist
HOT TAKE:
A lot of the issues in streamer culture are due to people who have made being online the totality of how they live their life…
Usually starting at a young age…
And a lot of it is “psuedo adults”, rejecting the idea of growing up and recapturing a childhood due to trauma of some kind.
Peter Pan syndrome comes up a lot because Peter Pan was always a metaphor for rejecting adulthood and reality.
The reason the adults are all pirates, is an allegory. Adults “only care about money” and don’t have fun anymore.
The desire to be a “lost boy” is the embrace of eternal summers, endless fun and running away from responsibility and a rejection of adulthood and the end of fun and innocence.
All this to say is that you can look at it through this lens and see that the sad reality is a lot of the problems in the community come from not acting as a reasonable adult would, and acting juvenile in the manner a high schooler or middle schooler would.
And the average online persona is to act in that manner and largely to appeal to a child or teenage audience or young adult audience (high school to college age). With the majority starting their viewership and hero worship of streamers in their teenage years…
Meanwhile the streamers they watch, often started streaming as teenagers or young adults but are now in their 20s-30s…
Which often means the streamers themselves are captured by an audience that is younger and less mature than them…
And also continues to attract a younger audience cohort even as time goes by, as people age into content and platforms their older counterparts made popular.
As time goes on the streamer has a choice to either move on to content and an online persona that would match their age (unappealing option as this is generally less popular or they would lose a lot of the audience they built) or fight to stay youthful and relevant doing the same content they have always done, which might at that point have become a real part of their personality and not a persona they portray for fans.
The performance becomes their identity and not just a part of their life, but their life.
They forget or never discover how to be anything else (reference Hook where Peter Banning is 40 and believes he’s once again Peter Pan, a child who doesn’t want to grow up).
*I’m not trying to generalize all streamers but this is a meta commentary on the prevailing culture among the largest streamers and their viewers and why all the drama and trauma happens.
The point is, when you have a cohort of adults that act as overgrown children, for the sake of entertaining both overgrown children and actual children…
It means everything is typically handled in the worst way possible.
Serious situations that should involve authorities are either swept under the rug for fear of people losing popularity and money, instead of confronted and treated seriously with accountability and justice being the most important thing to happen.
Much like children who don’t want to tell the adults or admit to doing something wrong, to avoid anyone getting in trouble and trying to handle it themselves. 🤦🏾♂️
Or toxic and abusive relationships continuing to not lose friends or be unpopular or make others uncomfortable… 🤦🏾♂️
Then there is also the prevalence of situationships and private relationships where false availability is a means of extracting a parasocial relationship with fans… again a very high school, or juvenile approach for the sake of retaining attention. 🤦🏾♂️
It seems that if streamers did in fact act their age, that the entire meta among the largest streamers would collapse due to viewer disinterest.
The drama and juvenile delinquency and all the collateral damage is a feature… not a bug.
It’s this generations Jerry Springer and Soap Operas.
