GProve plebs👾 We’ve been hearing about SP1 and all most of us know is that it’s related to @SuccinctLabs haha, but there’s more to it and I’ll break that down real quick! SP1 is a performant, open-source zero-knowledge virtual machine (zkVM) that verifies… yeah, all this is probably gibberish to you, so let’s go deeper in this together fren, using more understandable terms… Since I watch a lot of anime, Naruto especially, let’s imagine SP1 to be a shadow clone you send on a mission. Instead of you completing the whole mission yourself, you make an SP1 clone, then this SP1 clone goes, completes the mission extremely fast, and when it’s done, it doesn't bring back every tiny detail like how many leaves the clone saw or all that BS, it just spawns back with accurate proof letting you know the mission’s complete and telling you exactly what it did, probably by syncing its memory to yours. Straight to the point, little info but just enough… This saves a hella time and effort because you won’t need to watch every single step of how the mission was completed, you just have to trust the memory proof the clone has brought to you. Forgive me, I’m a die hard Naruto fan lol, so this is the best illustration I can use. Few terms you should get familiar with to understand all of this better; Zero-knowledge: This basically means SP1 will show that you did everything right without showing all the steps involved. Virtual machine: Imagine a special clone that can embark on missions inside any village. Yep, that’s SP1, but in this case, Rust or LLVM are the villages. SP1 is open-source, which means it’s free for all to read and use. Literally anyone can make their own virtual machine! Linking the above illustration and putting a few things together, SP1 is an open-source zkVM (Zero-knowledge virtual machine) developed by Succinct Labs, aiming to simplify the use of ZKPs (Zero-knowledge proofs) by allowing devs to write standard Rust code without going deep into complex cryptographic implementations. SP1 supports tons of blockchain apps, like rollups, bridges, oracles, and privacy solutions, enabling devs get cheap and fast proofs as well. We’re seeing quite the innovation sers, I think I’m bullish on this piece of tech, although I’m not a dev haha. Damn, I’ve written a little too much lol, so I’ll be rounding up this whole thing. I hope I was able to explain this properly. I’ll jump into more details next time, bye for now tho… Visit Succinct here: succinct.xyz/

Zm peeps I got a couple of questions asking how @zentry works and how to climb the @injective leaderboard. This thread is purely based on my experience, might not be %100 accurate. Let's go SocialFi lovers🧵
