The bill to raise California's gas tax was uniquely bad. It raised the tax immediately and made it go up automatically every year. We were one vote from killing the bill, but Richard Pan voted yes. Now we're paying $6.14 per gallon and Pan still says, "I do not regret my vote."

WSJ: Elon Musk ordered the slowdown of the military-grade Starlink network used by Ukraine, according to U.S. officials and people familiar with the matter. Trump and Musk have both expressed anger at Ukraine for attacking Russian diesel refineries, which Trump blames for high energy prices.
