@myforestfoods just wanted to say, as a veg who misses real meat.... I've tried a LOT of fake bacon products. Your mybacon product is the best fake bacon I've ever had by FAR. Plus, I feel like It's got to be healthier for me than beyond or impossible stuff. AMAZING WORK!

@dribbble looks like you removed sign-in with twitter. Totally understand now that it's a shitty, unreliable platform. However - how can I access my account now that its gone?

Paul do you seriously believe any successful founder wouldn't be able to earn a higher than 2% avg return on their wealth over the course of their 60yr lifetime? You use math as your sword but neglect reality in the process

Lol consider yourself lucky, I've been getting DC'd from ranked games for months now. I've lost over 1500SR to disconnects.

Stop focusing on skins and cosmetics and actually QA your game, and listen to the playerbase. It's no wonder COD is losing players. Overwatch is sounding good right now.

My last company paid $50k for one. For a first logo that you don't intend to keep, you could go as low as a few $100. Remember, good branding is branding, not just a logo. That takes creativity & knowledge of your customers & generally you get what you pay for.

Controller is basically aimbot, it's ridiculous. Switched for the first time the other day and I was frying and I've literally never played warzone on controller before. So stupid

I’m also not a mortgage broker so I don’t know everything, just a guy slogging through it right now. My mortgage broker is super chill and helpful though if you want to ever get his feedback on what you need to do

And finally, if TGD is gangbusters right now, and you have tons of cash in the bank, you can actually use that cash as collateral for your loan, since if it’s an LLC it’s actually your money. There’s a bunch of tricks you can pull to get over the hump

Another thing you can do btw is add a co-signer like your parents, they don’t even have to have any skin in the game, but their income will be added to yours and your approval will go way up!

On the bright side you might be forced to wait, and I do think the market is headed for some pretty low times in the next year. I’d try to get set up so that you’re good to buy in 2023

You can! But that’s assuming you have your corporate structure set up (I assume it’s an llc) and you have been operating for 2 years with revenue (which I don’t think you have =\). They’ll take your 2 years and average them, and use that to set your income. It’s a huge pain

One thing to know - buying as a business owner is extra tricky. They'll want to see your business in operation for at least 2 years, your business tax returns, your personal tax returns, everything. I just went through it so lmk if you have any questions

I don't think they're worse now. But there are a lot more "low effort" releases than ever. Remakes, sequels where nothing changes, etc. Basically the ratio of new original games and gameplay to boring rehashes and buggy releases is all skewed. Game companies refuse to take risks

Thank you for the insight. This is terrifying, and shows how effective culture wars and propaganda can be.
